Xbox lose future sales because less people would want it.
@never4get
Most(if not all) gets free upgrade to Windows 10.
@Malacath
Still far more people owning gaming PC than Xbox One. Gaming PC is still the biggest platform out there.
Even though annual sales have gone down (because people don t need to upgrade as often), it is massive. Last year alone was 40 million discret GPU sales. By discrete GPU, I mean ...
Here comes Moldy and Spetic for damage control department.
I've seen what happened to Halo 5. I will wait till game launches for final version rather than bullshots.
@Pogmathoin
Yes. Having less exclusive is good. Keep telling yourself that.
PC dont belong in same ecosystem. Lol thats why control support has become standard for PC games.
As matter of fact, it is now plug and play set up on PC for controller.
But fact dont interest you. Just damage control does.
@Kribwalker
It is clear you do not game on PC.
I have GPU in its 4th year running fine. Just played Witcher. It supports DX12 also btw. With DX12 providing huge boost to PC, i doubt I need to upgrade soon. Not to mention cheaper games.
If you want all exclusives, PC and PS4 combo is it.
Is this what X1 gamers has come down to? Lying to themselves so that they dont feel bad?
As for attach rates, PS4 actually ...
Wait wait wait.
Wasnt there like a month Xbox outsold PS4 because of Halo version?
Didnt Xbox fans celebrate how exclusive sell consoles?
We got actual numbers to back it up, but it doesnt stop X1 fans from trying to damage control the whole thing.
MS is surely listening to their fanbase now and how happy they are to see less exclusive. MS will just give them even less.
So official statement goes
"Xbox having less exclusive has been tremendous success!"
Make sense, they got tons of Xbox fans defending them now.
It will be logical to give them less exclusive.
This is same as last gen. People defended X360 exclusive drought. and then they got more drought.
Xbox fans are so desperate trying to claim that this is somehow a benefit.
Here are list of excuses.
-It makes MS more money. Yea. Good for MS. Nothing to do with you.
-Now exclusives dont matter.
-It is super benefit to cross buy. Lol.. cause if I got strong PC to play the QB, I want to play on Xbox to see downgrades.
This is same as the Xbox 360 game drought we had last gen. Xbox fans desperately defended. And you know what?...
@Eldyraen
What a damage control. More bang?
LOL. You will get more bang by owning PC and PS4 or PC and Wii U.
Why buy console that dont offer much if anything more?
As A PC gamer, this benefits me, but def removes a reason why I need to buy Xbox.
@MoldyBread... did you really say this?
"exactly. it should be about the health of the industry, not exclusion because you somehow think that makes a console unique. what makes a console unique is the feature the hardware offers that nobody else can. "
It is what features that matter now? LOLOL. I like that feature in form of GAMES.
Damage cont...
Amount of damage control here is just amazing.
This is good for MS and Windows 10. MS is basically putting windows 10 at cost of Xbox One.
It is simple as that. Moves like this provides even less reason for people to buy Xbox, but MS is more focused on converting people to Windows 10.
Just accept it and move on.
@Ravenor
"What you are saying is wrong because I did this"
Seriously? 1 data point? and from you? Do you think what you are saying actually negate the fact that DX12 Capable PC market is more than 100 million customers?
It is far bigger than Xbox.
"It isnt going to effect anyone"
LOL. Stick your head in sand however you like. PC market is going to be far bigger than Xbox.
...
This move is good for
-PC gamers
-Microsoft
and Bad for
-Xbox One. Even less reason to own one.
@AngelicIceDiamond
So in your head, WiiU or PS4 not getting it is only thing that matters? Wow. That is just sad fanboy mentality.
Fact is all you need is PC to play the game. Not xbox. It is even less reason to own Xbox One.
What kind of desperate reasoning is "it still is MS platform". What difference does that make? Point is you dont need Xbox to play it. So many more people have gaming PC than X1.
@Dlacy13g
@Rookie Monster
ROFL. "can you do the same with MS paltforms with "Xb1/Windows 10 exclusives" "
Yea. You can. By calling it either Xbox exclusive or Windows 10/PC exclusives.
THat is just desperate defense.
@XMessiah23x
There is no battle between anything but fanboys heads. But to say this does not matter is just desperate damage control.
People dont need to buy Xbox One for its games if they have PC. Point of exclusive was to get you to buy the console to play the game.
SF is a desperate defense. It was announced PC from the get go, and has plenty of real exclusives.
@PockyKing
Why do Xbox fans always desperately try to change the definition of exclusive?
It was Xbox One Exclusive. It isn't anymore. So it is not exclusive.
By your definition, I can call COD exclusive because it is not on Ouya. Most games will not be on everything. Doesnt mean it is exclusive.
@ KiwiViper85
I think MS in general is trying to push Windows 10 hard. Even if that means sacrifice...
Problem is that his vision is PC. As a PC gamer, that is great news, but for Xbox One users maybe not.
@343_Guilty_Spark
They may spin it as multi entertainment/media center. They already tried to do that with Xbox One during its launch. This is why X1 has weaker gaming spec.
@crazychris4124
Except that PC gaming market is huge. Discrete GPU sales were 40 million units last year alone.
@Septic
Says who? I think your damage control dont even make sense anymore.
