Lol. Come on...
78 isnt good metascore. It certainly isnt "well above average". And it is no where near "master piece" you guys said it wouldnt be.
But that doesnt stop you from saying stuff to defend your no longer exclusive.
This should silence Xbox fanboys who attacked Bloodbornes graphics.
Xbox One cant even run the graphics at Full HD. Or at decent performance.
@Commentator
Actually, they were wondering about "micro code" implementation. They already said DX12 features relevant to benchmark are being used.
"Generally speaking, micro-codes are used to update the processor’s BIOS or even introduce stability and security updates along with possible performance improvements."
Then again, you probably knew that. It just didnt stop you from desperately hoping to take it out of context ...
@Commentator
Actually it does.
It is saying that DX12 supports the feature and Xbox One is already using it.
Which means it was implemented in the demo.
"This ensures that a single batch is required for rendering which further improves performance. This also means that the API of Xbox One is already pretty close to DX12"
So yes. the gap exist and will continue to exist. DX12 features are already use...
This shows a quite a large gap.
GPU is showing benefit of 50% more culling on PS4. Ram is showing PS4 also dominating in latency as well.
Similar to gap shown by Ubisoft.
http://static1.gamespot.com...
It is not just on paper. PS4 is actually dominating in actual practice too.
@MCTJim
...
Lazy Dev? Sounds like damage control.
Xbox One has been console of damage control and secret sauces.
Face it. None of the secret sauces panned out and yet another game is suffering due to the weaker hardware.
Unlike PS3, Xbox One has no first party exclusives that anyone can point and says "look Xbox One is capable! third party devs need just time!"
Nothing. It looks weaker on paper and it actually is weaker in per...
Why not just buy cheap PC and gain all the benefit of PC then?
Lol. Wait...
Global Illumination?
Volumetric lighting?
You do realize So many other games feature those. Those effects were cutting edge years ago and now pretty standard.
Wow at fanboy damage controls
@TheCommentator
Fact is that PS4 would compromise alot less.
Stop with the damage control.
Thing is that QB had to downgrade to 720P to fullfill developers vision beca...
@Darxyde
Actually, it's not just lighting that is 720p
" In every scene tested so far, a native resolution of 720p is the consistent result found in each pixel count test "
Most assets are rendered in 720p it seems.
MS and QB must have been desperate to fake resolution.
720P with alot of graphical effects downgrade...
It seems like it is struggling on Xbox One.
@Unspoken
No they didnt.
"The question remains as to whether some of the trades Remedy has made perhaps cut too deep into the overall quality of the presentation. "
They said game was well optimized, but graphics seems compromised.
Lol. they said nothing of what you said. Stop damage controlling
Problem with new SKU or hardware is that you lose optimization.
Locked in hardware provides really good optimization. If you want upgradablity at cost of optimized software, then you are better off buying PC.
@Commentoator
Except DX12 was supposed to provide huge boost already. and we dont see it.
Also, it is obviously how desperately you want to disregard QB and Battlefront. As you tried by saying, "not patched in like SW:BF"
http://wccftech.com/star-wa...
Problem is. Battlefron had DX12 built in from the launch.
LOL. Nic...
@Commentator
I love how X1 fans so quick to drop Quantum Break. They have been touting the game as show case for DX12.
Now you are saying Deus Ex is the first game using DX12? LOL. Wow, are you disappointed by QB that much? Fact is QB has ENTIRE ENGINE built around DX12.
" developed using a new engine called Northlight, which uses DirectX 12's new capabilities"

@mcgrottys
Dude. graphics have nothing to do with screen tearing.
I dont get why x1 fans have to constantly damage control with false info.
If Alan Wake had no vsync and had framedrops, it would had screen tear. Obviously, the devs in this case, decided to leave vsync out due to lack of hardware capability.
Higher resolution produces crisp images. Whether graphics are bad or good.
Game would actually benefit from higher res.
This should put magic sauce DX12 to rest.
It shouldve never been a secret sauce to begin with since Spencer even said it was for PC and not xbox. However, fans just made up secret sauce they wanted to hear. This has got to be over dozen secret sauces that didnt pan out... Xbox fans should accept reality at this point.
Especially since PS4 has features that hasnt even begun to be used yet.
For example, remember GPGPU and Async COmpute?
PS4 got whopping 8 Async Compute that is only used in very few instances.
DX12 and Vulkan's native support for Async Compute means large improvements are ahead for PS4. Ironic given how DX12 was supposed to be secret sauce for Xbox One.
@TheCommentator
Yea. On PC only. That has been consistent with what we said.
You should really stop with secret sauces.
Also, if you really know the topics, you should also know that adoption of DX12 really helps PS4 more than X1.
PS4 has 8 built in Async Compute Engines. Async is huge feature for DX12. Xbox only has 2.

Actually it doesnt.
A. Other reviews including games scoring high had few bad ones.
B. Metacritic is weighted. Meaning no name sites review doesnt mean as much.
C. If you have over 70 reviewers, few of them are bound to be bad, statistically speaking. But few of them are overwhelmingly positive which offsets the negatives.
All in all, fans are just damage controlling the review scores.
