I'm surprised that more gamers aren't buying up the Wii U in bulk. Lots of users on N4G talking about how important the exclusives are but they seem to ignore the Wii U and its heaps of software that can ONLY be played on a Wii U.

Some of the best remasters of FFVII music I've ever heard. Until SE can prove they can do better, this guy is my standard.
I think the greatest barrier to a great Superman game is that fact that video game engines currently do not allow open world destruction. Once that is feasible, I imagine Superman and Dragonball games will be getting pumped out quite regularly (or at least fan mods).

Say what you will about the Wii U not selling well. But this Christmas, they have 2 of the best exclusives on the market.
Xenoblade Chronicles X and Star Fox Zero are nothing to sneeze at. The fact that Platinum games is developing SFZ is almost too much awesome for me to handle. And Xenoblade Chronicles is my favorite game on the Wii so I'm BEYOND excited for the sequel.

Sega isn't capable of making good Sonic games anymore but the good news is that other developers are.
Check out "Freedom Planet" and you'll soon forget about wanting Sega to make another Sonic game. Freedom Planet is the best "Sonic" game I've ever played. Period.

I can't believe a strategy gamer like you has never played the Langrisser/Warsong or Dragon Force games.
Sega screwed us all by only localizing the 1st games in those franchises (Working Designs did Dragon Force). Of course, Sega has much more than that to answer for. The list of great games that Sega withheld from us is long indeed:

It's been 17 years since Shining Force III released (and we didn't even get all of III) but I'd be dancing on tables for weeks if they announced a proper Shining Force IV.

Knowing how Nintendo usually does things, they'll announce it next year and release it in 2017.
I'm personally hoping for a handheld/home console hybrid that unifies their product into 1 single platform. Imagine: Pokemon and Fire Emblem on your TV at home and epic Zelda adventures on the go. Taking their mobile dominance to the next level would make them near untouchable in the marketplace.

already are being looked at as GotY candidates. We still have Metal Gear Solid V in September and that series always picks up a lot of GotY awards. XCOM 2 will also be in consideration. XCOM: EU picked up quite a few GotY awards in 2012. Star Was Battlefront is looking amazing but EA's track record is less than exciting. Maybe this one will be great but I'll wait and see.

I know its wrong to laugh at people's misfortune, but this article makes me laugh so hard.
To me, anything that is "multiplayer only" translates as "made to rape your wallet while not even be worth the gas to go to the store to buy it." I don't think of "Multiplayer only" games as something worth even $5 because they are only playable for a short period of time before the servers go down and then the game becomes WORTHLESS.
Who cares about their E3 show anyway? Answer me this: When was the last time Nintendo had a great E3 showing? 2004?
With Nintendo, it's all about the games. They really couldn't care less about wowing us at E3 because they're too busy making awesome games like Zelda, Xenoblade and Star Fox.
And to be honest, that's all I care about: Great games. IMO, Sony and M$ could learn some lessons from Nintendo.
My Christmas free time will be OWNED by this and Star Fox.

Exactly, I'm a big Platinum Games fan and the fact that M$ didn't even talk about Scalebound REALLY chaps my hide. That is like the only reason I'm even considering buying an Xbone at this point and they had nothing to show...
I think its safe to say that Phantom Dust is pantomware at this point too since the company making it went out of business. Maybe another company might do it but it'll be many years before that releases.

I'm a huge Nintendo fan and being honest I can't even remember the last time Nintendo had a good E3 presentation. Maybe when Twilight Princess was announced?
Nintendo just doesn't seem to understand what E3 is. They just get up there and talk about some random Nintendo stuff - most of it unimportant.
But they still deliver highly polished, extremely fun games at the end of the day so they still have my faith. And no matter how ignored their home ...
