I don't necessarily want less story, just less pointless npc dialogue like with all the clock tuning to change their emotions and all that.
Hopefully a little less dialogue than Penacony. Super hyped to pull Herta though!
Hopefully the trailer will come with a release date!
What's the reason all the other types of games don't sell on xbox then?
This is Ubisoft though. This dlc likely was part of the main game that they trimmed off.
Honestly if M$ isn't willing to pay for these to come to gamepass, I don't see square putting in the work to port it over. Same with FFXVI, since the sales for that on PC weren't great either.
Scarlet Nexus is pretty decent. Not on par with Nier Automata but it's better than most anime styled action rpgs.
Monster Hunter definitely will take up most of my time for a while. Looking forward to seeing how Wuchang turns out, and Elden Ring: Nightreign could be the new co op craze like Helldivers 2 was for 2024.
It was really compelling for the first several hours but it really got predictable and kinda boring for me after a while. Still a decent game, but personally I wish Unicorn Overlord got as much attention as Metaphor... that game was fantastic.
I feel like if a modern warhawk or starhawk was released now, it would be super successful. Sony leaving money on the table with all these dormant IP's.
Neither can MS half the time lol.
What's with this second wave of super high praise reviews for this game this week?
Sales numbers don't lie, and this game missed the mark by a lot. Pretty sure bioware dug their grave on this one.
To be fair, when Diablo 1 released and 2 came out and gained popularity, they were considered the definition of ARPG at the time because all these other games that could fall under the category didn't exist. I guess now that there's so many other games that could be thought of as ARPG, that's why they were trying to push the "Diablo-like" genre.
We still need Mega Man Legends 3!
Man, Vanquish and MGR:R absolute top tier. I still replay Vanquish pretty often.
Dunno about that. Stellar Blade had some influencers on X and youtube trying to get it boycott for the main character being unrealistically sexy, basically. Some game sites gave it lower scores than deserved as well, plus the recent game award nomination snub. There's idiots on both sides.
The write-ups say it's a co-op survival game. You get dropped in a procedural generated area and get stronger to prepare for boss arrivals at night. Every third night is a major boss. Sounds interesting, but if it's forced co-op it may not appeal to as many fans.
I enjoyed Metaphor, but I feel like it dragged about halfway through. Personally Stellar Blade or Unicorn Overlord would be my picks. So sad that Unicorn is just about forgotten or overlooked in all these awards, it was really a great game.
@blackblades
Yeah it's just too much, and even their other game Zenless Zone Zero offers a skip button on some of it, so I don't get why they still haven't put that feature in Star Rail and Genshin still.
The voice actor strike had a bit to do with some of the parts not being voiced though.
