I mean the fact FF13 is taking only 3 years after FF12 and looking as great as it is should be given props. PS3, because the exclusives are AAA across all genres---not just 2 different type of shooter games. Gears 2 sucks and Halo is old news. I don't even mention Fable 2---that is NOT a game. It's a joke of a RPG to say the least.
Microsoft needs to start opening up way more first party studios to follow in Sony's steps of delivering games for a gaming console.
I bet all my $ on almost every major gaming site or magazine to give Uncharted 2 game of the year this year. The only competition is Killzone2 and inFAMOUS. Honestly though is there any way Uncharted 2 could be fail after the trailers we've seen and the beta we've played?
Watch though because like someone said above Edge will bust that game up with a 7-8 and everywhere else will be gleaming with 9+ scores and game of the year nods. If you trust Edge reviews after that on ANYTHING...

June is really far off of what they projected. That's not even spring anymore. I mean they said PS3 version is 90% complete and putting into english has clearly begun with a 360 version being 70% complete. I don't believe the Gamestop date to be fully honest.
I expect this game April 25th 2009 or something like that. Honestly if this isn't worth the 3 year wait SquareEnix is effed.
Gears 2 + Halo 3 = Yawn. Sorry, but when I think "gaming console," I think many AAA exclusives across all types of genres to keep my experience fresh.
Plus a 30-50% failure rate due to the machine being a room heater.
I've had fun with my 360, but there is not one game that I know of coming out this or next year so far from Microsoft that I want and can only get on my 360. I have a pimped out PC...
I was under the impression that when games get a European release that the reason it takes longer is due to the numerous language options they give you guys. If they are only giving you English like the USA version is getting also, then that's really effed up. Otherwise I totally get that translating and resyncing a full game multiple times will take some time.
At least Sony thought a little bit ahead for the UK gamers by making no region locks.
Wish they'd take one page out of their book with a beta test.
Never in gaming history is NOT having a beta test beneficial to the product you release. Look at Gears of War 1 and Gears of War 2 for examples of what kind of terrible BS can happen if you don't public beta test your online multiplayer.
