I wouldn't doubt that they did max out the PS3 on this go with the type of game they made. That doesn't mean they couldn't improve upon the formula when they would make Uncharted 3. There is always ways to make your game look prettier than its predecessor by being even better with the tech you are using.

Hopefully they give the game tons of new elements with the 2D release. Something like Megamanish where Sonic will build up some sort of abilities or powers after clearing bosses and areas to keep the game fresh throughout.

Thanks to you I just stumbled on the single reason why most RPGs this generation for me completely fail---voice acting choices. It's not to say the person they picked is bad at their job, but it seems as we have grown with our games that RPG developers still think it should be geared for younger kids and thus use young voices to win us over somehow.

Yeah Suikoden 6 is all that I care about. I hope it is a PS3 exclusive too so that Konami can do more with it, but I won't be miffed if it's multiplatform either.

You're saving up for the wrong system. Get a PS3. More games, free online, blu ray, HD gaming, free wi-fi, and it only keeps getting better.
If your 360 RROD's(which it will) I doubt you'll be saying your choice for a 360 was the right one. However if you already own a PS3 then it's a fine choice.

I honestly regret more and more each day for having wasted my money on a 360. The only game I've felt that was worth having gotten it for was Lost Odyssey. I really liked Gears of War 1 as well, but hell that was on PC too.

I love my PSP 3000. Plenty of good RPGs to be had on it for those who feel deprived of them. Buying the 20 dollar component cable with the PSP to make all your games playable on your HDTV is also one of the best things you can do. It's a total blast to play a game like Crisis Core or Monster Hunter on your TV with your PSP. No image distortion and improved sound quality.
The PSP is my favorite handheld ever and I've owned them all. :)
