I played the demo for a good chunk of this morning. I think the people on here either A) Didn't play the 360 version or B) Are REALLY trying to make this game sound like it's comparing a NES game to a PS3 game...
It looks slightly better... it really doesn't look like a giant leap. I've beaten it on my 360, and now I played the PS3 demo and honestly the only real noticeable things is improvements to lighting.

Art style choice is superb. I'm pumped for the TGS information for it next week.
I'll be the first to admit I was full on ripping on this game based off of the only trailer we had before these screen shots. If it was up to me and I worked at SE I would have NEVER shown that first trailer. That trailer made the game look like the biggest piece of crap since Superman for the N64.

I'm a little more persuaded about MW2 becoming a purchase and not just a rental after watching this, but the lack of a beta really has me worried. There's never been a time on this planet where putting out a beta did not greatly benefit your game. I hope early reviews get put up to let us really know how the multiplayer stands, because if I do go against my intui...
I fully agree their art style choice is superb! I'm already interested to hear more on this games story and battle system. Looks to be an action RPG, and if Crisis Core taught us anything is that the PSP is a great place for those kinds of games. :D
I'd buy this day one if my wallet wasn't already stretched out as thin as hell.
Renting it day 1 though. I have a bet with a guy that I can beat it on the hardest difficulty, because apparently on the 360 version only about 23 people in the whole world managed to that and one of them was him.

This game does so much right. I hope there is a sequel in at least game mechanics.
My favorite part of Demon's Souls was the atmosphere that just oozes out every corner. This game sets the mood of its plot very well and retains it for the whole game. That's hard to do. :)

I'm complete opposite with you there. If there's one thing Infinity Ward does well its their single player campaign. From challenge to set pieces and it keeps a great pacing throughout.
I except an adrenaline roller coaster ride for both UC2 and MW2, but I can tell you I'm only buying UC2 and renting MW2 simply because as far as multiplayer goes IW seems to be screwing the pooch on MW2. No beta test and no dedicated servers = rent to try before I buy.

Haha this is so sad. The fact they even mention a guy from ND is now working for them just shows how much they are envious they could create a game of the caliber that is Uncharted 2.
Sucks to be that guy too to go from AAA to over hyped AA quality at best. I'm sure a year from now we'll read a story on N4G on how this guy killed himself because of the mistakes he made in his career.
