How many first party studios does Microsoft have? Bungie and...uuh Bungie? Of course they are going to parade around the only one they have. EPIC does multiplatform, Lionhead studios has done PC games, and last I checked there weren't any others having made exclusives for 360.(Unless you want to count Ninja Blade earlier this year...)

You mention other games supported by Microsofts pay roll and I doubt in a million years they had nearly the same budget to work with as Bungie.

I predict RPG of 2009, except in Japan it'll be FF13.

I've played it, beat it, and loved it. If you aren't a panzy and can stand about a solid 8-10 hours of dying a lot, then you'll be treated to a top notch quality game.

Has anyone ever even read a bad review for this game yet or had someone who imported it tell you it sucks? That many people can't be wrong can they? It'll be a game that pleases the majority who try it.

I suppose when you don't make your game run at 720P, not use dedicated servers, keep character models very modest and low key, and get rid of an engaging/interesting storyline then you can focus on gameplay more right?

I really enjoyed Fallout 3. It was my second favorite game in 2008 after MGS4.

I never went into Fallout 3 thinking it was going to be a FPS, a RPG, or a merge of the two. I just felt it was going to be its very own thing and you'd either like what they gave you or not. It's like for example trying to label Flower the game into a genre. It's just its own thing and you need to enjoy the experience.

SEGA and I are not on speaking terms when it comes to consoles. I bought my DreamCast a week before all the news spilled out that it was game over for it. I could've spent that money then for a PS2, but was suckered in by a buddy to get it for Phantasy Star Online.(Awesome game back in the day.)

Before long I just saved up enough for a PS2 as well. I didn't play much games on DC, but I fully enjoyed Grandia 2, PSO 1 and 2, and Sonic.

I was thinking about seriously importing the Japanese Version if I couldn't understand it just to play it since 2009 is a pretty slim year for games I know I'll buy day one.

However, that's a bit steep for a game I can't understand, so I'll just wait for the cheap 60 dollar version for my PS3 instead. :)

ESPECIALLY on long ass RPGS like someone just put it. A game like Star Ocean The Last Hope starts off at like a solid 8.5 and then slowly but surely as you play drops down to a 7.5 due to a poor story, weak characters, and horrible voice acting. It isn't as apparent that was the case at the start, but once that game is complete it is junk.

The person who did this article is retarded. He thinks that Super Mario game will outsell all the games on that list. Hate to break it to you but Mario is only on Wii, but MW2 is on 360,ps3,andPC so you are outta luck there. Didn't Modern Warfare 1 sell like 14 million copies up to now or was it even more?

I'm almost 100% sure he meant from today. They said Spring and they kept saying the PS3 version is 90% complete, and the 360 was 70% complete. Keep in mind the 360 version is all english stuff and a different format which means we can expect FF13 in the west in March I assume. Perhaps April though to not compete with God of War 3.

I've played and beat Wild Arms 1-3. They are all 3 without a question awesome RPGs. I heard 4 was so-so, but that 5 was really good. I saw vids for Wild Arms 5, and tried to hunt it down at Gamestops in my town, but no luck.

I really hope they pump out a final Wild Arms that they will announce at TGS. :(
