It only does everything. Including giving you good games to play and review early so that your job doesn't suck. Imagine if the PS3 didn't exist and we only had Wii and 360 to pick from...wow we would be AAA game deprived, and stuck in a giant slump for pushing this industry forward.

I think SE needs to pull their heads out of their a$$ here. This game in general seems like it's going to be niche so they may as well bring the version of the game that the majority of that niche crowd would prefer--Replicant.
I'm not worrying about Gestalt at all. I'm only solely interested in the PS3 only Replicant version, because it has better art style choices for the characters.

Drawing 100 fires madness!? Lol. This is great news to those who are big fans of 8. I completed 8 and beat Omega Weapon, but it's def not in my top 5 or 3 favorite FF games.
The second FF9 hits USA store I will get it. It's my favorite FF game and I'd buy it 100X over to have it on my PSP. :)
Dedicated servers would be a big deal if they did it. Idk how they currently have it set up on finding quests ppl are doing, but something similar to Ad-Hoc for the PSP version with dedicated servers would be genius.
As long as the lag doesn't exist and the voice chat is there it'll sell fine. :)

The only real thing that worries me about MW2 is that I'm getting it for my PS3 and not my 360...so if it's gonna be treated like MW1 was with all the BS I'm going to be done with Infinity Ward games. If they like Microsoft so much don't go multiplatform if you don't plan to make the games equal in quality.
I wish Fourzerotwo would let us know if the PS3 version is gonna get love this time around if things go south.

It's the same control scheme that Resistance Retribution used, but I think the main problem with it was that in MGS it needs to have its sensitivity jacked up a lot more to make it fluid. In Resistance the camera moved at a faster clip so you could shoot things easier.

I wonder when GT5 hits if all the Turn 10 guys will sneak out at midnight to local Wal-Marts in disguises to pick it up. They'll play it and tears will roll down their eyes, because even the most serious crack over dose can't keep the awesomeness of GT5 hitting you like a brick to the nuts.
Hell ya! I hope it's as meaty as the Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 demo. Bayonetta was one of my personal favorites of 2009 and it slipped into the train wreck that is 2010. Too bad for it, because it was going to be a buy, but now it will be a rent. :( Poor move SEGA poor move.

Yeah that's what I thought was the case. Didn't the first patch for fixing some issues with the PS3 version take months, but the 360 patch was released much sooner? I'm not 100% sure on that, but I do remember an uproar from the PS3 folks over how IW treated the PS3 community in comparison to the 360 community with their game.
I'm gonna piss and moan at my local Gamestop if in 3-4 days of playing it on my PS3 there is some major BS going on with it in retrospect to the 360 versio...
If anyone here Twitters and follows Fourtwozeros page they should try to ask him if the PS3 version this time won't be gimped. I'm getting my MW2 for PS2, but I heard that MW1 had some serious problems compared to the 360 and PC versions.

360 has Halo and Gears. Guess what though? You are STILL talking about Halo. Every few months we PS3 owners are talking about another AAA exclusive that is worth every cent. The games help keep moving the game industry forward with what they are accomplishing and keep pushing their respective genres to another higher mountain top for other games to scale and surpass.
