I won't define it as a great job but I would say it is at least decent. AAA titles are not your everyday game development, they take loads of years and lots of money. And if you want to get them done well based on the size of the studio, it can take even more time. Which is why when I see people on the site asking for new ips instead and no sequels or only AAA and no indies, I smile to myself about how self entitled or ignorant they are

Many great games and franchises are linear but with great story, gameplay and enough content
Not every game has to be open world, and I have played terrible open world games as much as linear

Judging the game based on a demo, in fact it is not restricted linear, it is more open space linear, Another gameplay showed Galahad climb on a roof top to shoot down enemies rather than stay on the ground. Developer went through a straight walkthrough
Transitioning cutscenes didn't seem to interrupt at all, it was smooth from what I have seen
They haven't really been showing enough gameplay to go on to be honest, really won't judge until I see the full game. Seems linear with open space just for the demo, not that it is bad.

The witcher 3 is a great RPG and everything, depth, lovely game.
But did you just say it looks better than what you saw in the UC4? trailer. Not even Witcher 3 looks as good as that.

Ryse doesnt even look better than Infamous compared to the Order, which doesn't use pre rendered cutscenes
