@Godmars
How the hell is FPS the same thing as TPS? These gameplay approach alone can give gamers different experience
Setting matters also, The Order garnered a good amount of interest alone because its setting was something not done before with weapons and gadgets that dont even relate to that era, then the introduction of historians to the story makes the whole setting unique from the generic TPS
"The key point is that both are shoote...
So does No man's Sky, doesn't mean you get the same gameplay approach
"Yeah, from what I've seen of 1886, it exactly what Destiny is: A linear FPS which serves as a vehicle for a story which doesn't necessarily serve the FPS. Its more reliant on hype than its mechanics to be a success."
I cant believe people actually agreed with your comment, people just want to dislike The Order because its an exclusive or because they are trying hard to nitpick faults from very little gameplay
Lets start with comparisons
Okay from what I am seeing from the comments
One dev from The Order gives his own opinion on rewarding Destiny for its Scope and Art and suddenly he speaks for the other numerous devs and Sony Santa Monica working on The Order to the extent people are now comparing them with scores when they both take a totally different approach and there has hardly been much gameplay seen from The Order
These comments are fascinating
hahahaha Well Project Morpheus isn't based on your confidence, rather actual gamers.
You literally stalk most Sony articles
Oh the irony
Microoft whole policy changed to Sony's PS4 and the flagship game was UC4, the most exciting one.
And if i remember clearly Bungie are no more with Microsoft, hence Sony are free to have a strong partnership with them
"This New guy seems to be more focused on money and numbers. He spent a good amount of time talking about it."]
Because that was what he was meant to talk about, as in part of Sony's E3 schedule and doing his job
You think he chose to talk about numbers?? You seem very clueless
Shawn Layden has actually more gamer knowledge than Tretton, Tretton is just much more composed
"Shawn Layden just needs time to get comfortable with the whole gaming scene"
Shawn layden is actually pretty comfortable in the gaming scene, he knows his games and has been coming to E3 with Jack Tretton
I think he needs more time in interviews and conferences to show what he is truly like
Well not with that performance on the E3 stage, I guess thats why Sony gave him so much time, to firstly introduce him then test him out at an important expo like E3.
He does seem like an interesting guy through interviews and knows his games but i like Tretton way better than him. Hopefully he can be better in the future
ah you are trying to solve a ridiculous fanboy console war phenomena, so impossible
is it true Stig's cancelled project cost Sony that much money or was it just insider talk??
Anyway great to see him again, did great with God of War 3
Would love to see his work on Titanfall 2
Exactly.
"Sony was pretty much touting it as lifetime excusive DLC at their E3 press conference"
Prove it.
Cause I didn't know announcing exclusive dlcs for your console simply implies it is a lifetime exclusive
Stop being ridiculous
Yeah but the XboxOne won't get it for a long while and PS fans would have seen and used it numerous times, thats the whole concept of timed exclusive
I think we all knew that, at least if you have been paying attention. Same goes for exclusives on Call of Duty and likely The Division
@Lukas
I know right? They must be mental to make UC4 in game look better than that and deliver it by 2015
Pretty sure Yoshida is at the point of tired and pissed about having to reconfirm The Last Guardian is still in development to every single interviewer.
I never played Shadow of Colossus, but I wonder why they are so many questions about this specific game??
lol no chance
Both offer different experiences, plus established franchises mostly gets the gold
That makes no sense..
Really?
Ill just leave this right here

Unity Technologies is on sale for 1 or 2 billion
Not really one for MS, as they would actually have to work on growing the engine rather than just making money out of it
