What is interesting to me is that normally MS keeps it professional by not directly jabbing. Sony on the other directs their jabs straight at MS and with sleight insults.
That to me is the difference in the way each company approaches the competition. I don't like Sony in that regard. They could at least be subtle

I don't think there's a double standard. Recore reviewed poorly but Microsoft barely marketed the game.
The hype was non existent and the game is not that bad in my opinion... I had no expectations and no promises were given. With that game there's a huge disconnect between the reviews and what actual players are reporting in terms of how good it is.
Both to blame but Sony intentionally let it happen. Their quality standard caved in when they realized how much money they could make.
And I don't like how he threw Sean under the bus. Sure the guy lied and or misled but OMG is Yoshida pretentious. There are videos of them playing the game and having fun. He knew the promises were not gonna be in the game but continued to market the videos that showed the lies.

Ps4 currently has another game under the radar and completely ignored.
The tomorrow children... Yes this game had been in the list wars but it's being very casually unmentioned since it's reviewing poorly.
