Must be a young young gamer. This was how people would play together back in n64 days. Golden years of gaming.
Not archaic at all. People do Co op all the time. What happened is there was a bunch of dumb sheep that companies realized they could manipulate to pay for online and cut costs for development by excluding split screen which was the #1 way to play with your friends.... And still is for some people.

Amazing how it can go from... Quiet to pure excitement and immense levels of anticipation over a brand that many feel is milked to death.
The truth is very far from that.
Gears is an amazing franchise. And the level of excitement it's reached so quickly over just a couple articles is prove of that.
Really makes you wonder if they're tired of making the same games.... Some people don't get that sometimes devs really enjoy the games they make. Even if it's the 10th or whatever iteration.

It's really a shame how it's been reviewed.... And more shameful how certain gamers spread hate towards this game although they never intended to play it. And that goes for both sides.
The majority of people who would play quantum don't own the Xbox or are busy bashing it for fun. The actual fanbase of the Xbox who like to play variety liked it.
Just go back to looking at scores in meta critic.

How much did tear away sell again? Many games on both consoles flop sales wise. Has nothing to do with the console of the fanbase. Many fans of Xbox buy what they like and clearly they don't like cod as much as Plays...

It's a very bizarre statement and doesn't really explain anything at all. Obviously it's a sequel to an established franchise.... Unless they wanted to change it dramatically like how God of War seems to be doing...
Exactly. Sometimes, I know it's hard, but you just look at a company without pointing fingers at others. Then you can see what needs work.
Personally I think way too many ps exclusives go under the radar without receiving much if any advertising or marketing of some sort.
Not the case with Xbox... Not sure about Nintendo. And yes I know the argument that Xbox barely has any exclusives blah blah. That's not the point and it's off topic. Lo...

The awesomeness of gears is that online singleplayer and coop is all fun.
I am hoping 343 learned from its mistake and the next halo will have couch Co op again.
Couch Co op is the way to go if they want to appeal to a larger audience. Not everyone likes to play online... But most people enjoy gaming with their friends in the same room
I miss the days I had endless hours to play games. I have a hard time finding the time to play at all.

The most underrated game so far this year. I can think of some overrated games but not so many underrated ones like recore.

I personally think February will be the month that a ton of good games are overlooked because there's so many.
Not everyone can buy as many games as they want when they have bills to pay.
