Just checked and they aren't selling PS4s at the burger van outside my work. Do Sony even want our money?
Wuuut!!
Just spat out my Mountain Dew all over my Doritos.
Wow, Microsoft of all people shouldn't be making fun of corporate sponsors lol.
People aren't "hating" because it's cool, they're concerned that what MS are forcing onto gamers will set a precedent that will severely restrict out freedoms as consumers for the coming generation. People have legitimate concerns and dismissing it as just following the cool crowd is plain ignorant.
@Software_lover
You're right, my bad, either way it won't be ideal for me unless I can stand it up. I wish that was the only problem with it :-/
It's bigger than an old PS3 fatty in every way but height and my fatty doesn't fit on my shelf lying down.

Well it looks massive from the pictures to me anyway. It wouldn't be so much of a problem if you can stand it on it's side, maybe you can, we'll see.
I think gamespot's map says it all really, MS have killed core gamer interest so far. I'm not one of these "wait until..." people because if MS keep their used game policy and mandatory Kinect it would take some kind of quadruple megaton and more to get me back onboard. Although I'm not ruling Xbone out completely, never say never and all that.

That's a loaded question, it could be niether or both.
It seems a lot of the exciting aspects of PS4 are a direct response to criticisms of PS3 and shows just how in touch Sony are with the industry and their fans.
I believe they will show this mutual respect and willingness to listen to gamers once more in the next few weeks/months by heeding fans requests on twitter to NOT have any kind of anti-consumer used game policies or evil DRM.
Of course, we're just numbers to them. I still expect to be treated with a modicum of respect since, after all, I am a paying customer.
The problem is that buying new or buying used are not mutally exclusive options and Micrsoft are punishing not just people who ONLY buy used but also paying customers who SOMETIMES buy used.
So the basic gist of this article is that, if you're poor and can't afford all your games new, Microsoft hates you.
"I am sure that will all get cleared up in due time."
Yes, I'm sure it will and I look forward to reading your blog about how DRM, mandatory Kinect and blocked used games are awesome for the games industry.
A few well thought out and interesting articles on N4G today...

Thunder dropping from 100ft+ into a crowd was a spectacle to behold :D
Super powers are fun, who'da thunk it.
Does Microsoft have your daughter?
Do you want me to call Liam Neeson?

On topic: Most of the hate is from the anti-consumer practices that MS has put into place on Xbone not because there wasn't enough games shown. They will certainly have more games at E3 but does that really make up for online DRM and used games penny pinch...
Won't stop me sticky grenadin' their faces.
What a superbly thought out and well written piece, who allowed this on N4G? :P
Well worth a click-through and read.
Leave Xbone alone you guys

When there are alternative like the PS4 to choose from there's just no need to face all of the hassles that XB1 comes with. It's like MS think they have the whole industry on lockdown and they can just dictate to us what we want and how we can use it, I mean honestly, what are they thinking?
Still amazed that GT6 looks as good as both next gen racers and it's on PS3! PD are godlike.
