Yeah I agree with you, I think it's fake, 4 reasons:
1. The screenshots used on the back are all from footage that has been released on internet
2. He doesn't show the actual game
3. We've had no stories of MGS4 going "Gold"
4. It's probably a dsiplay case
They could definitely do a movie about Asteroids, just make it pretty much like Armageddon but no drilling.
That is a ridiculous thing to do. I mean on one hand it could make the devs think "maybe we should make better games", but most likely they will think "f*ck MS, lets just release on PSN".
I don't understand how keeping the title on there makes any difference to MS, just uses up like 100-350mb of server space. It's like MS doesn't WANT our money...
Already played it, so most likely I won't get the PS3 version, unless there is some extra content and even then it'll probably only be worth a rent. But it is a great game that people should buy if they only have a PS3.
That's exactly what I thought lol. Jean Claude Van Damme should play the part of Pacman and Ms Pacman is kidnapped so he has to get revenge. lololol
I'm looking forward to this more than Too Human and Fable 2 combined, because this game looks like it will actually be a good game.
It would be nice if VGChartz had some proper competition that had accurate numbers :(
Other games have done the meat shield thing, it's not new.
Hopefully they don't receive any credit for their POS Wii, make a decent console like the Gamecube again. Most people who don't own a Wii want a Wii, when they get it they realise it is actually a piece of sh*t.

@TimeSplitter he's joking obviously. COD5 is made by the same team as COD3 so will most likely be crap.
Epic's storylines are notoriously crap, so I really doubt that this is true.

I think they are going to put more of the stealth stuff back in, that's the only difference it had between MGS, Splinter Cell used to be very good and complex in the stealth area whereas MGS used a simple form of stealth.
Obviously this is fake, but if it does debut exclusively on Wii, I can see why (due to more consoles sold, especially in Japan). But I hope it doesn't it should be PS3 exclusive as the previous iterations were on PS2. If it isn't exclusive to PS3, it should be Multi-plat for both Wii and PS3 (releasing on the 360 makes no sense because it is a JRPG and it looks like a kids game with the disney characters, and for these reasons typical 360 owners won't buy the game).

Some of these look good e.g. Splinter Cell, but Fable 2 and Too Human graphically look crap.
The gameplay mechanics weren't up to scratch but Crysis is still the best looking game ever made so far (especially if you max out all settings, but when i did that the game ran at 2fps lol).
I think the text messaging is a chat feature anyway.
I will sit through the full cutscenes atleast once, then the next playthrough I'll just skip them.
Can't wait, MGS has always had the greatest story because of it's long cutscenes
