I have a 360, but none of these games are really that great. The only game that I think maybe I would want on PS3 would be Gears of War.
Mass Effect is sooo short, I mean I did pretty much every side mission posssible and it took me 15 hours to complete, and then I realised that if I just did the main game, it's only 5/6 levels (planets) long.
Oh yeah Halo is just hype, it was OK but not great. Dead Rising just sucks I started playing it like months ago and haven...
Yeah, I don't remember any hype before SoTC was released, people still don't talk about the first game Ico which was awesome as well (I think it was better than SoTC in some ways).
Either way this is a game that actually deserves the hype, because it is a really really good game.
MS never learn, they will rush their 3rd console to market again. If a new Xbox comes out within the next two years, it was almost useless buying an Xbox 360 and proves that Xbox consoles only have a very short lifespan (making the PS3 more value for money).
Correction sonarus, we all hate WiiFit, cos it's a pile of crap NON-game.
But this seems to be a stock issue rather than a demand issue, people want the non-game they just can't get it.
It probably is true, I mean Rare make the game. But Tekken is the greatest fighting game, nothing else even compares, and the only people that don't like it are the ones that are crap at it.
Tekken is very fluid, and a very fair fighting game (more than other games). I remember when I played Killer Instinct on N64, I thought it was really really crap.
I actually prefer Dirt and GT5P, Dirt is a very good rally game, and GT5P is a very very good simulator. Grid is trying to be somewhere in the middle and isn't that good.
This is the chief designers opinion so it's obviously biased.
Exactly, what's the point of buying these games if they aren't going to be good?

That is a lot of games, I expected like 10. I don't think the devs will be too happy about this...
sonarus - you obviously don't know what a good game is if you honestly believe that NG is better than DMC. When we all know that Ninja Gaiden is pretty much a Devil May Cry clone, with a mediocre story, more repetitive gameplay and slightly worse graphics.
Also your point of load times making DMC4 last gen is ridiculous, every game needs to load, where do you live? In the future where games never need to load??? Even Ninja Gaiden has slow load times, it's just not mission based...
Yeah lol mustn't be many gamers in Switzerland judging by those sales numbers. But some sales are better than no sales.
@Sev1512 - I completely agree with you, I've never hated a PR person except Shane Kim and Aaron Greenburg (the guy that looks like an Orc). They just can't shut the f*ck up, maybe they'll lose their voices at some point that would be good.
Peter Moore was different, he had integrity and professionalism, these guys don't.
Oh no it's a Strategy RPG, there's only one strategy RPG that was good and that was Jeanne D'Arc, it is probably one of the best games I've ever played and I hate SRPGs. If this is even close to that game then it should be good.
I can't believe that MS can be this stupid, especially seen as their "focus" on digital distribution is meant to be greater after HD-DVD lost the format war. If you're going to leave the stuff on the server to download, just leave it on XBLA all together.

Nurburgring is a very long racetrack, they may be adding endurance races with this update aswell hopefully.
Ninja Gaiden is good, but nowhere near as good as DMC. And IMO Ninja Gaiden is a shallow game, like DOA (don't they make both games). lol.
So basically according to this story Sony gets it's data from official sources and says "we're winning in Europe", and the MS just says No giving no proof. Sounds like damage control by MS.
Also it doesn't really make a difference if they include Middle East, Russia, Africe (it probably only equates to a few thousand extra sales)

There are a few 2008 PS3 games you missed out e.g. Wipeout HD, SOCOM
But on the 360 side, NG2 is not AAA, Ninja Gaiden Sigma was quite bad, and you only get that sense when you play the game, it has a very bad story, although I will probably still get it.
Gears 2 will probably be good also and I may also get Banjo, but i don't expect any of the other games to be good at a...
@Hellbringer - Lol I guess I missed that story, but the other points I made are still true IMO.
I haven't seen enough advertising for this game, whereas Halo 3 was advertised everywhere, and there is a DS or Wii advertisement on TV every hour. Sony really need to use some money for advertising.
