3 million is very nice, I would definitely say GOTY, but seen as Gears of War 2 is coming out later on this year...I expect people will have forgotten abou the greatness of this game by then :(

@Amanosenpai - No...It looks good, but not THAT good. Still gonna get it this year, but I don't expect it to be a huge leap in graphics from the first game. Also some of the screenshots look blurred (I don't know if they did that for effect or to hide graphical problems)
I am a PS3 user and I am not unhappy about the PSN being offline.

Do you actually live in Europe or are you just guessing? RPGs do very well in Europe and Japan and not so well in the US, a lot of people in UK bought a PS2 for FFX. FPS do very well in US and Europe and not so well in Japan.

It's funny how Dark_Alex actually improves Sony's official firmware, I remember one time he actually fixed a bug in the firmware, that Sony fixed a week or two later in an official release.

Sony should buy certain exclusives i.e. the ones that were born on a Playstation system (e.g. GTA), other games really need to prove themselves before hand IMO.
He's too lazy to learn a new architecture on the PS3, and seen as the 360 is basically a PC, he doesn't have to learn anything new.

From what I have seen of this game it looks crap. I can really see it being a Haze/Lair, same with Fable 2, but the difference with Fable 2 is it has a bigger fanbase, so it may get a low score but still get high sales. It may even get high scores from some of the fanboy reviewers.
I didn't find fighting the End so great, so every time after the first play through, I just killed the End after an earlier cutscene so I didn't have to fight him.
True SotC had great fights, but it had to because it was a boss fight game.
I liked the final battle with Liquid in MGS1, although pretty much every boss fight in MGS1 was great

Sony studios is making the Resident Evil CGI movie though, so it's kinda stupid if Capcom accepts this offer. I hope that Capcom doesn't, but I can really see this happening, cos lets face it, Gears of War 2 is not enough to push the 360 this year (yes I know fable 2 and too human are coming out).
I have played Ninja Gaiden 2 and all the games in the DMC series and all the games in the GOW series and can safely say that ANY DMC/GOW game is better than a Ninja Gaiden game. Not to say that NG is bad, but it's just not as good.
I can't believe how biased Edge is to actually write this. Ninja Gaiden basically copied concepts from DMC and Onimusha, and then adds a very very bad story to the mix.
Oh yeah, and NO way is NG's gameplay mechanics better than God of ...
