I find it funny that Xbox only owners can say the PSN is sh*t when they haven't even tried it. The PSN is very stable and I've only ever seen it go down (apart from scheduled maintenance times), when there is a highly anticipated demo out and even then it doesn't die it just slows down. 2.40 was just the beginning, Sony are still trying to improve the service.
Xbox live is better than the PSN (not by much), but it is not worth £40 because all you're paying for with the Gol...
I really hope so, but most likely they'll just announce they are releasing the PS1 FFVII on the PSN.

@FordGTGuy - It's not a very good sim, especially when you compare it to GT5P. Forza is so unrealistic compared to GT5P.
Cannot wait for E3, it seems like it will be fantastic (especially Sony's). Also I hope Nintendo announce Golden Sun 3 release date or something, that's the only game I really want for my DS.

Yeah there was stuff on the PSN last year about E3, so I expect it will be available this year too. Also I've seen videos from most major conferences on the PSN to (ie. Sony Playstation day).
Anyway it doesn't really matter cos I'm hoping to see all 3 conferences live on internet
It's just Amazon, people don't only buy stuff from Amazon so this data isn't that accurate.
@1.5 - I kinda agree with 1.1, Mass Effect didn't suck, but it wasn't as good as I thought it would be. Basically it was more of a Shooter rather than an RPG, so I expect Dragon Age will be better. I hope the new game will be longer Mass Effect was way way too short IMO.
It will work, you just have to use a more complicated method than usual. Don't know if it's worth wasting so much time on that method though...

This is about a week or two old, someone on GT posted the site and said it is Resistance 2 Beta signup.
This design (and pics) are very old, I saw them a few months back. The design is too big and ugly, and I don't think this will sell well at all.
@Glad to be a Gamer - I do own a 360 and I did own Gears 1, and have seen Gears 2 HD video. You are right that the gameplay video looks a lot better than these screenshots. There's no need to be a fanboy over other people's opinions. How has the PS3 got anything to do with this story?

OMG these screens shouldn't have been released, the game looks really bad in these shots. I wasn't expect much of a graphical leap from Gears 1, but this doesn't look any better at all. :(
Anyone know where we can watch most (if not all) of these conferences live somewhere. Usually Gamespot (yeah I know everyone hates them) lets you stream, but I don't think they are going to do it this year :(.

How can you have a 3d dashboard? You can maybe have a 2D dashboard, with a 3D look.
And how is a 3D dashboard a great announcement?? The only great announcements are game announcements, even PS3 home seems pointless to me.

@360degrees - Obviously people are going to complain that actually had a problem with 2.4 (which I didn't), same way you would complain to MS if you get RRoD (or in my case disk read errors). There's no point in you trolling all the Sony articles just cos you can't afford to own a PS3.
Every company has "surprises" at E3, and I feel like Sony's E3 will be the best again. And Nintendo's will be the worst the only thing I can see them announcing is Kid Icarus.
Dead Rising 2 will be multi-plat (Dead Rising 1 is crap anyway, I've got the game and I only played it for a few days and got bored). The best announcement MS could make would be exclusive Resident Evil 5 and Bioshock 2.

This is a pretty well written article, but although Trophies in a way are better than achievements due to the different classes of trophies, I still think Achievements will be more appreciated than Sony's Trophy system.
A good way to make the Trophy system useful would be to allow you to buy stuff in Home with the points you attain. Or pay for real games from the PSN store (or get a discount). That would be really really good and make PSN immediately better than XBL IMO.
