Alcohol causes so many issues because you make major errors in judgment; vandalism, deaths caused by drink driving, alcoholism, GBH, in many cases is the reason why people beat their spouses, and it costs health services BILLIONS per year. Over a million visits to hospital in UK are due to alcohol related injuries.
Just because someone made the drug legal, doesn't mean it isn't dangerous and doesn't cause problems....
@Oh_Yeah - If you think selling drugs is a non-violent crime, you are extremely mistaken. It is the root cause for most of the societal problems and leads to increases in prostitution, burglary and violent crime in pursuit of the money to pay for the drugs. Not to mention all the crap that happens where these drugs are produced.
Also, more than likely, there is something in the PSN user agreement that says that Sony can remove all the false subscriptions without any consequen...
The problem is, all of this stuff is second hand info. I don't believe any of these game sites for a second because I know they will overhype because they like the Devs, or they enjoyed COD too much. I need to play it to see if it's any good really, but gameplay demos should help.

Plus a dose of exaggeration. VGC has got Xbone preorders at just over 200k (to be expected really considering it is launch time and it is arguably the biggest game to launch on the system).
Don't even have to look at the story to know that the PS+ offering will be significantly better.
The annoying thing about this is that the announcement is too late. Everyone was expecting this in Feb/March, and all of a sudden, it's delayed. Same thing with Watch Dogs, @publishers - stop doing this shit. Announce a delay early if there are issues!!

Pachter is not a fanboy, and to be fair, he is probably right that no publisher will allow any game less than two years old on the service. But that doesn't even matter, because it is going to be for old gen titles, almost all of which will be that old. If PSNow is a success, then the publisher will start looking at offering new games on the service. That's always how it works.
Gears went down hill a little, and MS didn't do great with Halo IP, which is why most people didn't care for the announcement. On top of that, it wasn't really new. If they'd announced Gears as multiplatform, and then it became exclusive, then that would have been a far bigger deal.
The thing is, both of them will do well because they are different types of games. With that said though, TitanFall is out for PC and 360 as well, and will likely sell a lot more than inFAMOUS simply because of that. I'm not going to buy an XBOne for it, but I might check it out on 360 if it reviews well.

Joel is too good a character to leave alone imo. I'm hoping for a proper sequel at some point, sooner rather than later if possible.

This is absolutely one of the most stupid articles I've ever seen. The ending of The Last of Us was absolutely perfect imo, it is one of the greatest moments in the damn game, and this idiot is too stupid to understand it.
@MasterCornholio + sinjone - They could have put more esRAM on the APU, but they would have had to increase the die size in order to keep the current GPU/CPU compute units. This would have meant redesigning the motherboard completely, and the whole size of the console itself.
It was possible, but it would have meant that MS pushed the console back at least 6 months.
All I want is local media player support. I honestly don't care about anything else, because all the other features don't matter that much. They should be focusing on giving all the features the PS3 has to the PS4 first, and then foxus on the extras like suspend resume.
The biggest problem MS will have at E3 is that they will need to be able to announce enough new games, but by the looks of it at the moment, we will get gameplay demos of games that were announced last E3 more than new announcements. They did the same thing Gears 3, announced it at one E3, and then showed the game the next E3 like it was something new, when it wasn't.
If I had to guess, I'd say we get a Halo demo and a Sunset Overdrive demo, and maybe Mass Effect 4 or...
