@above - I honestly don't think that would achieve anything. Major Nelson has proven that he has no idea about the big decisions at MS, and doesn't seem to have any say in anything.
The "renting" argument imo is completely invalid, because who plays a game after 1 month anyway? I finished Demon's Souls, I loved the game, but haven't gone back to it, and if I did want to go back to it, I could just restart subscription if mine ran out.
I'd guess it would be a few months yet, because it is a timed exclusive I think.
Nooooo. As much as I love God of War, I really wanted to play this game. I hope it is just on hold and not cancelled.
Hopefully The Getaway.
Elop is the guy that basically made Nokia so crap, just so MS could buy them.
I think it could have been a lot more if deep down came out at launch.
@mantismo - Yeah MS wouldn't like that, I'm sure Sony would be happy though.
@above - like there's never going to be a price cut in a few months after launch? Or like there's no way to switch DRM off?
They're not going to give up in Japan, they can't afford to simply because they need to show developers there that they are committed otherwise say goodbye to multiplats for a lot of games.
He is clearly an idiot if he thought the Xbox One version would look better than PC. It's just not physically possible.
If TitanFall bundle doesn't push up sales as needed, there will DEFINITELY be a Kinect-less bundle.
Tbh, I knew there would be a price cut within the first few months, it was obvious to anyone who was not blinded by fanboyism. I was however expecting them to do it after TitanFall launched to see whether TitanFall made any difference in and of itself, but it looks like they decided that that best chance they've got is to price cut the TitanFall bundle. It's a good idea, and will likely pay off depending on how good TitanFall reviews.
This actually makes me look at the Xbone as a viable buy now. Still not going to pay for XBL so TitanFall would be useless on me, will check it out on PC first.
Apparently 2 consoles now means readily available.
Since they bought back their phone share from Eriksen, their phones have been really good, and doing well. Entertainment has been going strong for ages. The only struggling areas are TVs and PCs really.
Oh God, that song's in my head now. What's the anime game in the third vid?
Thing is, even if it's demise was true, that's not a bad thing because it's what the people want. They don't like what MS is offering and that's why they going against it. But, I wouldn't say they are going to lose really badly, they will do very well.
But who buys hotcakes any more...
:p
"Where’s the cloud power Microsoft advertised for Xbox One?"
Well, as any sane person expected, it was all BS. I understand the whole dedicated server argument as this is technically possible, but "making games look better with 3x Xbox One power" was total BS.
