These list of 7 things are actually doable and are changes that are needed. Especially the first one, I hate it when kids join your party, I thought them two kids in LO were annoying, but Rico & Rucha in Infinite Undiscovery are the most annoying kids ever.
@FantasyStar - I dunno about VC, but LO had quite terrible voice acting, especially the main bad guy (whose voice acting and character design sucked imo)

I'm getting both, but I am more interested (and was more interested before the Multi-plat announcement) in Versus. Simply because the game looks a lot darker and mature, XIII reminds me of X-2, which is not a good thing. I'll still get it though cos FF is one of the JRPG franchises that is almost always worth buying.
@jay - that was kinda a requirement for Sony to get 3rd party backing, if you look back you'll see that many many devs were not happy about the PS3's price, so Sony dropped the price. Business is business, supply and demand, if demand goes low you drop the price. Exactly what MS did, and what Sony will do and Nintendo will do it as well when it's needed.
@jaysquared - I think you'd call the Xbox price drop late 2008 desperate, because it was being consistently beaten by PS3 in every territory. Anyway it's just business, not desperation so STFU.
On topic - I think Sony may drop the price, but I don't see it happening soon, especially in the current economic climate. If sales decline severely they could do a price cut in April, but other than that they could easily keep selling at the current price, and do a big price cut at Xmas 0...
What they NEED to do is instead of making fully 3D games, make remakes (and sequels) in Bionic Command: Rearmed style and release them only on PSN/XBLA/WiiWare. The concentrate on new IPs, and occasionally put Sonic in Mario games (or whatever else).
I'd love to see 3D gaming become big, but I also don't want to have to upgrade my TV or by new peripherals so soon. I'd be ok with the polarised glasses though (atleast that way the 3D works for everyone)
Ok I know this sounds completely fanboyish, but most of the games on this list have not been announced, have TBA release dates (so most likely coming 2010) or are really really crap games. Which is why the only ones worth mentioning are the exclusives and a few high profile multi-plats e.g. Resident Evil 5, Street Fighter 4 etc. Not any pile of crap game coming out for the system.
If anyone can't see that they are blind fanboys.
@Why dis - A few reasons why Mass Effect coming to PS3 makes sense:
1) EA is a multi-platform company, and hardly ever make an exclusive game
2) If Bioware doesn't port the game, EA will port the game themselves like Half-Life 2
3) EA has posted up recently that they made MORE money from the PS3. Yes that's right the console where apparently "nobody" buys games. Why wouldn't they cash in on that?

We all know what they'll do now, release a new colour or patterned Wii and milk the sales, then do the same thing again (as they always do), maybe a pokemon Wii or Zelda Edition Wii after that.

Also Sony has ENOUGH games coming in 2009 that it won't even matter if this is delayed. For the Holiday season alone they have Uncharted 2, Ratchet & Clank 2 and Heavy Rain (and FF13 in Japan)
I hate it when people compare the score to other games' scores, the score is good whichever way you look at it. And comparing it to games like GeOW and Halo is ridiculous, cos those games scores were affected by hype, bias, and the fact that the games were already established IPs (obviously not for all review sites, but people cannot help putting their own subjectivity into reviews).
Although if IGN says the game is good, it must be good.
Don't care about installs, even if it was optional I'd probably still opt for the install.
For some reason it is hard to not notice the fact that this trailer doesn't say "Releasing Simultaneously on PS3 and 360".

I'll only try and fix the RRoD myself, if it happens and I'm out of warranty on my 360. But as long as MS forgets to ask for proof for date of purchase, there may be a long time yet.

Some of it is actually in game, shows the fighting system, also it includes voice acting and confirms 2009 for PS3 version of the game (in Japan)
Fake imo, Kid Icarus has probably been modelled by 3D artists hundreds and hundreds of times, this is probably one made by a Kid Icarus fan.
