It's not exclusive (the demo). Although I don't care about this game at all.
Good score, was thinking of getting this game anyway, so this score just cements my decision. But Famitsu have been wrong before, cos IU sucks.
only 3 hours long?!!!.... they better not over charge for it...anything over £4.99 is too much, and they won't get anything from me for that.
I like the look of the game, and the controls look like fun...but why so short...and no replayability? why?...that makes no sense
Good show, guys if you don't like it don't watch it. I don't see what the problem is?
I don't like Gamespot's On The Spot anymore since Jeff and Ryan left, so I don't watch it. Is that too hard to do?
I agree with everything these guys are saying, it's disgusting to see such racism still existing to this day.
HHG speaks his mind and he is fairly unbiased, I respect him for that. (Just because he likes KZ2 it doesn't make him a fanboy).
This bit makes no sense:
"Killzone was a rather mediocre game on the PS2 scoring a 70 on Metacritic"
70 is average, if the game got 50 then it would be mediocre. That's just an observation, I've never played the first game, but from the videos I've seen it looked pretty decent.
So basically they gave the game 7/10 because the multiplayer online is awesome, but they don't like the fact that your orders are shouted at you?
Isn't that what you happens in the army, someone shouts orders at you and you do them?
I'm probably still going to get this game, but it doesn't look or sound as good as I expected it to be. Tri-Ace seems to be rushing out as many games as possible, they should take a few more months and perfect the game a little.
Anyway I'll personally wait for a video preview before I make up my mind about the game.
@RPG Guy - This will probably get 38/40 by Famitsu, main reasons being that 1) It's Square Enix/tri Ace (Look at scores for IU/TLR) and 2) It's Star...
Could you stay on topic? or are you too stupid?
Ok, let's think about it this way. It is more future-proof than the Xbox 360 and Wii. Why? Because it was released with a HDMI port, possibility to play 1080p video (and maybe games towards the end of this gen), Blu-Ray.
So yes it is future proof in that way. Also there is still a lot to be squeezed out of the Cell.
But if you look at it generally, obviously as soon as it was made the console became outdated in terms of graphics card, same with 360 and Wii.
Finally it's arrived, the fanboy review. The review that just wants hits LMAO.
Jason on Gadget Show is awesome, he is pretty unbiased, he also reviewed LBP and said he loved that. But it looks like he was enjoying killzone 2 a hell of a lot more.
Lol @ everyone jumping at Too Pawned, you guys know that he is a Sony fan right?
Anyway he is speaking the truth, 3:1 ratio of PS3:360 in Japan, but no one mentions the higher 360 sales in US when a game sells more on 360 there.
Still though Demon's Souls selling out is a good sign, but I'm guessing Sony didn't even think of bundling this game, so I dunno if it will impact console sales.
It's basically GeOW but with a Japanese twist, so they'll probably have different weapons (fantasy style), also more Swords not only guns. Also the story will probably be better, Japanese games usually have decent stories.
@1.8 - "You're an absolute fanboy if you don't think MS can't compete"
So you think MS can't compete? Seriously read what you type out before you post it, cos that's what you're saying.
Ok VX I know that even you aren't retarded enough to think that MS' current 09 lineup is better than Sony's? Or are you?
I'm pretty sure MS has got something up their sleeves, but Sony's exclusives are huge this year. Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2 ALONE are enough to satisfy me as a gamer.
Fact is 09 will be a better gaming year for PS3 owners, whether that will project in the sales, I doubt it, the 360 price tag is too attractive for mainstream gamers.
Yeah me too, hopefully Square Enix finally has made a proper next-gen RPG for the 360 (cos The Last Remnant is not very good, even though i completed the game)
It's quite crazy that this glitch is even possible. Most devs would have just put those areas (the guy was running on) as a background, so you literally couldn't interact with it. Just shows the quality of KZ2, even the areas you aren't supposed to go have been properly modelled!
@Jammy_70 - Lol at the people that are going to buy Halo Wars thinking it's a proper Halo game.
It's not even a huge issue, I personally didn't even feel the lag.
