@1.1 - Motorstorm 1 is crap, but Resistance 1 is very very good, better than R2 in many ways imo.

OMG, MS must have known that the patent would have held up in court, for them to pay the money. Either that or they wanted to settle ASAP to make sure Halo ODST doesn't get tainted by the lawsuit.
I'm calling bullshit, it's not even been a year since MGS4, if they announce now it will be a very long wait again. Maybe next year or TGS this year. Just don't see it happening at E3.
Yeah I agree, though I've played most RE game since Resident Evil 2. I actually thought RE4 was decent, hopefully RE5 is the same at least.
Go for the new one, atleast PSP-2000, it is A LOT lighter and slimmer.

On topic - good sales for RE5, I expected more sales for the 360 seen as they had that limited edition red 360 bundle (also it's a lot cheaper, and red is a lucky colour in Japan). But I would probably have got the PS3 bundle, cos that simple Tricell logo on the corner looks good.
It seems almost stupid to have a game on PC & PS3 only seen as it is so easy to port from PC to 360. Obviously I'm not talking about games with exclusivity deals with Sony.

They look pretty much the same to me, some screenshots favour PS3 version of the game, some favour 360 version. Either way there are only very slight differences, completely unnoticable unless you do a side-by-side comparison
As much as I'd like to say "f*** MS and SE", these screenshots are terrible and I'm pretty sure they are fake. The left pic is a scan, the right pic is in-engine so obviously the graphics are going to be worse in the trailer.
@N4Garbage - I have played the demo, not got round to playing the game yet. But from my impressions from the demo, Ninja Gaiden and Gow are a million times better than this game
When it comes to RPGs I tend to trust RPGamer more than other sites. But damn 2.5/5? That seems extremely low, I will be getting the game when it release in EU, but I was hoping for a great quality game, guess it will only be OK again.
This game is no way as good as either Ninja Gaiden or God of War. The only way it is a hybrid is that Ninja Gaiden has ninjas, and GOW has some QTEs.
Very minor difference, you can only tell by using a side by side comparison. Personally the PS3 version looks like it has better lighting (i.e. more realistic), but is slightly blurry in some of the pics (I'm guessing that's cos they took the screenshot during motion). 360 verion looks just as good, but the whole screen looks slightly over-brightened.
But either way, whatever version you play, it looks just as good on either to be honest.
@xlivegamer - MGS4 over 4 million sales, nearly 5 (last numbers from Konami a few months ago showed 4.7 millions sales), Resistance 1 over 3.5 mil, GT5 Prologue (JUST A DEMO! according to some) sold over 3 million (maybe 4 if you include Digital copies.
PS3 doesn't need saving cos it sells consistently well despite having a very high price point. It needs saving WHEN it stops selling.

I don't understand really why you can't take my comment at face value, it was not a flamebait comment, just a true observation. A lot of kids play Halo, and the only reason they like Halo is because of Master Chief, shooting stuff & the hype, if Halo Wars is an RTS, with no Master Chief...
I think you get the idea, I'm not saying it won't...
