Depends on how well he uses the engine, some games look amazing i.e. Batman, and some games suck.

@above - New Xbox 360, doesn't mean new design. It could just be a new SKU with improved internals/increased HDD space.
MS won't release a redesigned console any time soon. What they at least need to do is make the chips smaller, but keep the heatsinks/fans the same size, which should reduce chance of RROD. If they reduce the size of the heatsinks as well, then you can expect RROD to continue.
@1.1 - That's PR spin, everyone does that. They don't want sales to slow down before the price cut because if everyone knows a price cut is coming next month no one would buy a 360 this month.

@1.2 - The core value is there. The tagline has been changed to "The game is just the start", focuses on gaming, but also the fact that there is a lot more features. It would be incredibly stupid not to tout those features, because then the uninformed consumer would see no difference between Xbox 360 and PS3, except price, and then buy the 360.
I remember reading an interview with David Cage, where he talked about a game that inspired him. Anyone remember the name of the game? I was intrigued by it, but I've forgotten it's name. :(
Heavy Rain is definitely one of my most anticipated games, mainly because Indigo Prophecy was so good, but also because there will be no other game like it for a long time.

Yeah it's extortionate OK, I had to pay £150 to get my YLOD PS3 fixed, and that was just under 2 years old. Get over it, the warranty lasts 1 year, it broke out of warranty, which means you have to pay. Doesn't really deserve a story, enough people have been ripped off like this. I like how it says "new" PS3, but it's nearly 2 years old LOL.
If they wanted to make a story, it should have been something like, why doesn't Sony, MS or Nintendo offer extended warrantie...

I'm not going to be convinced by Natal, until I actually see a proper hardcore game that actually looks like it would be good to play. They showed that Burnout demo on Jimmy Fallon, and claimed that it had no lag, when it clearly did have lag, and seemed completely ridiculous to play.
ROFL Sorry guys I had to approve this cos it's so stupid. The guy is saying that a HDMI will cost $40, you are a complete RETARD if you are buying a HDMI cable for $40! You can buy ANY HDMI cable for the PS3, and it could cost $5 or $100 and it would still be the same.

Games become greatest hits/platinum when they have surpassed a certain amount of sales, NOT as a reaction to slow sales. KZ2 has far surpassed 1 million units, VGChartz guesstimates put it at 1.8 million. So most likely it hit 2 million in actuality.
Not really a reaction to slow sales, but a reaction to MS's price. When MS had the 360 at $299, with PS3 at $399, PS3 was outselling it every week worldwide. MS had to cut the price to compete, and have only just been outselling the PS3 at half the price.
Now with the PS3 at a more reasonable price, people are more likely to go for PS3 again rather than 360. Obviously sales did slow, but not because of lack of interest, more because of the price of the 360.

It will only work with another peripheral or piece of plastic. Which makes it the same as the Wiimote, and Sony motion controller. So what's the point of Natal if that's the case? I know I wouldn't want to play a shooter whilst pretending to hold a gun.
Wow that fan looks massive, almost as big as the one in the original PS3. It's crazy how Sony packs soo much into the PS3, because there is almost no empty space left!
