Sony require extra content for a late release on their console. So this was required from the devs, and the Xbox 360 only owners got the game early, so they should be content. The game is obviously going to PS3 because it didn't get enough sales on 360, which is the case for most JRPGs.
If you really care THAT much about the extra content, then buy a PS3 and get the game on that system as well.
Just watched it, and it looks good, but we really need a direct feed to make a proper judgment.
I hope it doesn't, but I have a feeling it will get delayed to early 2011. Cos we haven't seen any footage or concept art yet
Yeah same here, I much prefer Jak & Daxter. I hope they do make a PS3 version, well maybe they'll atleast do a Jak & Daxter collection or something.
A lot of people expected Sucker Punch to be working on Sly, but as much as I love Sly Cooper, I want an inFAMOUS sequel more. So this is good news for me. :)
I think Sly may go the way Jak & Daxter has gone, i.e. go to PSP with the sequel.
@fanboys Aquanox etc. - if you actually read the article you'd see that it isn't about graphics at all, it's about gameplay.
As usual the fanboys are defending this article, but if it was an anti-Xbox 360 article they'd be destroying. No one here is saying that the information isn't correct, we are all saying that they are using a misleading title to get hits. Everyone knows PS3 is last place (THIS WEEK) and why, but the normal person wouldn't know.
But I guess retarded fanboys wouldn't understand simple logic like that.
WTF is wrong with IGN lately? They shouldn't need to stoop so low for hits, they're already a major site
@deep - Yeah you just cannot miss the comments from fanboys, they are hilarious.
Yeah I saw it ages ago on GT. The game with the torch looks interesting.
I personally didn't see what was wrong with his argument. Especially for gamers, in fact if what he was saying happened, gamers would see no difference. We would still be able to trade in games and Gamestop would just have to cut in the devs on the used game sales.
The egghead guy just went in with a provocative stance, it was like he didn't even want to listen to what Jaffe was saying. Just wanted to argue with him.
@1.10 and 1.12 - You guys care too much. VGChartz has been proven to be VERY VERY wrong in the past, just because their numbers align sometimes doesn't mean they are reliable. NPD, GFK/Chart Track and Media Create are legitimate sales trackers. VGChartz is not, shows your level of intelligence that you actually trust this source that has been wrong EVERY time for the last 3 years.
EDIT: This has nothing to do with the numbers not being aligned to my particular console or anythin...
Ok that's it, I'm probably going to import this as my second ever imported game (first one being GT4).
At first I hated the blades, but then I got used to it. Then they released NXE and it is far too "dumbed down" and I actually prefer the blades now. :(
FINALLY. Sony advertising effectively. The metro is available to millions of commuters nationwide, and the most effective advertisements are the full page covers. Good to see them doing something finally.
On top of the physical copies, the online version of the newspaper is also read by 3.2 million.
@above - Do you work for VGChartz or something? Lol, I think you care too much.
Also VGChartz guesstimates worldwide not only North America. And it's almost always wrong.
VGChartz sucks. Simple as that.
Isn't the actual game already out today?
@1.7 - Yeah unlike MS, Sony actually showed some games at Gamescom and they are going to announce some games at TGS for the motion controller. There is one game that looked good in the montage, which was a horror title and looks similar to Siren/Alone in the Dark.
I don't think Natal is revolutionary, but as usual MS hypes the crap out of their stuff for no reason. They hyped NXE like it was the second coming, and it turned out to be crap as usual. I prefer the blades :(
Stupid guesstimates
Is anyone really surprised that they are going to have announcements? This is Sony, they attend every trade show, and they always announce new stuff.
