FF13 will DEFINITELY sell more, no doubt about that at all. Dunno what the game will be like, hopefully it is more like the earlier FFs. As an RPG though, it will be better than Mass Effect, because Mass Effect 1 was hardly even an RPG. It was basically just a shooter, with some very basic RPG elements.
If this article wanted a serious debate, it should have asked something like Mass Effect 2 vs Deus Ex 3, because they are both WRPGs (and imo Deus Ex all the way). Or FF13 vs Magn...
It looks decent imo, but demos like this are always based on very old code because they need to be approved first. I'm sure the damage will be better than this in the end, so I'm not worried.
@Syko - You aren't only talking to fanboys, some people here still can have a civilised debate without resorting to fanboyism. The problem is that you have "360" in your name, it attracts a lot of negativity towards you.
Personally I agree with everything you said, but if you only want to play games online (with nothing else), the PSN is more than adequate.
I knew this was coming eventually, but I actually don't give a damn. I didn't give a damn when it was announced as timed exclusive for 360 and I don't give damn now.
Games was sh*t, dunno why I would want to put myself through that hell again.
I personally think that LBP, should have BEEN PlayStation Home. The creation abilities, and the ability to smack around other players in Home would have been hilarious.
@Syko - People that can only afford one system would be better off buying a PS3 only because it has always represented the most value even at $600. And imo it offers the best exclusives, but if you can afford both, you should buy both. But you have to understand that some people just don't care about Halo and Gears probably isn't enough for them to buy a 360.
I think they already consider themselves as a multiplatform website. They've has the PS3 and 360 sections for a long time.

Makes sense to do this, but MP usually uses the same textures and maps as the SP. Anyway, they must be seriously trying hard to squeeze this on to two discs. I probably will get the 360 version in the end, but the added comfort of not having to switch the disc at all on the PS3 version is looking more and more appealing.
GT5 hasn't actually been delayed, ever. It's release date/window was never announced, and still hasn't been announced.
Ok erm...Lost Odyssey was on 4 discs, and although that game was good, there were parts where it looked like a PS2 game. 3 discs means either the game is a lot shorter or it will sacrifice the graphics.
Spring 2010, means June/July wait most likely. Still a long time to wait.
I bought my 60gb at launch and i got rid of my PS2 almost a year before. So when I got my PS3 I used the BC twice, played GOW2 and finished Sotc. And that is it, the people complaining about the current PS3s not having BC need to STFU. You got your PS3 significantly cheaper, you don't deserve BC.
I haven't used the BC since and it is completely useless now, because there are sooo many fantastic current gen games available. Stop playing last gen games and move on cheapskates!!!
The damage looks decent, not over the top, but it does need some more crumple added to it. Either way, better than nothing right?
Molyneux ALWAYS over-promises, and the game never delivers to that standard. I'm not buying Fable 3, because Molyneux always lies.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. If you don't own a PS3 in 2009, you are not a gamer, you are a fanboy. How can you miss out on fantastic exclusives like inFAMOUS, Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2 and call yourself a gamer?
I'm with you there dude. Activision need to lower the price of the game, but they won't because plenty of people are still willing to pay the inflated price :(
@1.39 - They obviously didn't. I'm sure someone predicted this exact title was coming in another article a few days ago.
Forza also came a lot later, copied GT and added rudimentary damage to try and fight back. But the driving is what matters, and the driving has always been the most realistic in GT.
Even now, I don't give a crap about damage.
@1.1 - I really hope they do that, the Japanese voice acting is sooo much better usually.
