This is what worries me:

Is it? Is it really? Why are the demoing using an older prototype that has a proprietary processor then? The new stuff has removed that, so lag is probably even more noticeable. I hope it isn't, but MS always marke...
Of course it does, Heavy Rain is more emotional than most games available. Mass Effect 2, whilst a great game, didn't really have much of an emotional aspect to it, which is normal because most games don't. Though MGS4 had a great ending.
I don't think it will come in 2010, but would be pretty cool. Sony proved with Uncharted 2 that they can make massive improvements in just 18 months, so the same could be the case with KZ3.
I don't see why this would be killed by Halo, because Halo is on the Xbox 360, it isn't Modern Warfare, PS3-only owners would be more inclined to by this game if they saw that 360-owners were getting a great game, as was the case with Borderlands and Uncharted 2, 360 owners (mainly, check NPD)...
I bet 50% of those Xbox 360 purchasers will be on forums the next day complaining about how they don't like the game, which was the case with Halo Wars. The other 50% are probably proper FF fans, but if they like this, they have to get a PS3 for Versus (if it stays exclusive).
Plus 9% of all the money Square makes, goes into Sony's pockets, so have fun supporting the the company you hate oh so much fanboys. :D
PS3:360, 2:1 most likely. Everything seems to point this way, would be surprised if it sold more on 360.

But the Xbox 360 exclusive lineup is definitely good this year, Mass Effect 2 (awesome) Splinter Cell and Halo Reach are good games in existing IPs, and Alan Wake looks very good. Apart from that, I don't really like any of the other titles. Fable 3 will not be good, Molyneux disappointed me with 2, and I didn't really like Crackdown. So there are 4 good games there, maybe Gears 3 as well.

For some reason this game reminds me of Shadow Complex, dunno why. Anyway, I doubt this will be 100% exclusive, most likely a timed exclusive. Look at the wording Godmars posted:

I didn't even know that, I guess that makes it easier for them to tell a story now, because your character will essentially be able to do quests and fight specific enemies depending on whether you are good or bad.
I'm not really an MMO guy, but it will be interesting to see how they tell a story in such a game, because it would be a lot easier in a single player game.
PS3 has been doomed so many times this gen lol.

The PixelJunk series is probably one of the best downloadable series of games available, every single one is, and I hate to use the word, "AAA" quality. They are better than some full-game releases in terms of value and gameplay!
Good idea, MS should do one too imo. I'd love to use a PS3-style controller on 360, and especially the Wii for a lot of games. And I would love to use the 360 controller on some FPS games on PS3.
It's a win-win for the consumer.
@cold - I don't think that many people care about LP2, I mean it'll be good, and sell well, but I don't think it'll take sales away from Alan Wake. They are completely different types of games.
