I don't understand either, it seems like Xbox fans think that any bit of hate towards FF means it's because it isn't PS3 exclusive. Well guess what, FF has always had hate, because not everyone likes JRPGs!
Anyway, I'm looking forward to getting it, hopefully soon.

@1.22 - BFBC2 will sell more on 360 anyway, because 1, it's a shooter, and 2, it's the only real western game that will appeal to Xbox 360-only owners in March. PS3 owners also can buy MLB 10 The Show, God of War 3, Yakuza 3 and are more inclined to buy FF13, on top of BFBC2.
So their money will be spread out and not everyone can afford to spend $300 in one month on games.
Still can't believe how good it looks in the latest build, and on the latest interviews with GT, they said that their next game will most likely be EVEN better.
I'm surprised Bungie isn't already here, I have NEVER seen such an exaggeration of a problem since this gen started. Seems like any issue that Sony has, is blown crazy out of proportion.

Yeah, I'm actually glad that there was something different to play. The standard FPS is getting kinda boring and a little too easy.
GOW3 is 3rd after Xbox version of BFBC2 (kinda expected though because this is the major game for Xbox 360 owners in March). FF13 is coming out before GOW3 by about a week so it is to be expected really. After that GOW3 may jump to the number 1 spot.

Pachter is awesome, but he is almost always wrong about the games industry. Neogaf seem to hate every PS3 exclusive game, they were saying this wouldn't even sell 100k, and would flop hard.

Wow, didn't expect shortages for Heavy Rain, seems like it is selling better than anyone expected.
You only have to look at the main sellers online to see that this is incorrect. MyVoucherCodes is tracking online only orders and all the online retailers have PS3 version selling more than the 360 version.

That reputation system actually sounds pretty cool, and makes sense. Still, I'm going to learn hacking immediately in this game again, because it is by far the most useful skill at the beginning of Fallout 3.
imo, if Sony bought Quantic Dream it would help them a lot, because they are really a mo-cap studio meaning they could use them for movies.
Edit: Also, isn't it ironic that the company that is "losing" money and should "quit" the console making business is buying yet another developer, yet the company that is making money (MS) has let several studios close down, and have been hiring like crazy for Natal projects.
