Ye gods. Those recommended specs are high enough, but the optimum...
Not exactly surprising, really. I mean, what were people expecting?
Looks interesting, graphically. Textures are a little rough but there's some nice depth of field effects going on.
Probably for the best. I mean, if there's one group of people you don't want to annoy...
It was a tech demo shown off last year that let you interact with a character on screen just by talking and holding things up to the Natal camera. No controller involved, and loads of voice recognition, pattern recognition, and so on. Really impressive stuff - if it works.
Useful for those new to the game.
Totally, but I wasn't expecting him to be a character in a huge game. I mean, this is the first I've heard about him actually featuring in a game of some sort...
Wow. I don't know why I wasn't expecting this, but that's still quite a surprise; I assumed Milo would be a stand-alone "toy."
Sounds about right, timing-wise. That'd be shortly after Blizzcon?
Fingers crossed!
Ye gods. A sports game that actually looks impressive.
Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn!
Ia! Ia! Cthulhu fhtagn!
Probably a good thing. I'm not even convinced that it's a good idea to set the second game in Pacific City, but who knows - it might be nice to come back to somewhere familiar. I just figure it's going to be too similar to the first in that respect. Hoping to be proven wrong.
Actually loving the looks of the evil character. Looks way better than in the past games.
And no, I don't mean the outfit :p
Good. Don't think cutscenes would really fit with Crackdown.
Depends on what they do with it. If it's the same pseudo-realism as BFBC, sure, but if it goes either more or less realistic, I think it's got room to become its own thing.
As I said, we don't really know much about MoH at the moment. I think it's going to be worth checking out - it's a revival of a big franchise and I'm sure they're taking it seriously. It's just hard to get excited because there's next to no real info right now.
In time, certainly - BFBC2 is out soon, while MoH is much later in the year. In tone, I dunno. Don't know much about MoH to guess.
I hadn't even thought of that. Considering that the optimum specs are talking about cards that, as far as I know, aren't actually *out* yet...
It'll have been designed for the 360 architecture, but there's only so much you can do along those lines.
