That looks like an HD S.T.A.L.K.E.R. with setpieces. Yes please.
Hurray for nudity. That definitely won't make Mortal Online a target of more "I was sexually abused online" stories than Second Life.
Good stuff. Might get in on this, and if I can't, I'll watch the carnage online :)
Just a tad. Not that I'm happy to see it's false, or anything; I just didn't really believe that when I first saw it.
Nice 'tache. I look forward to hunting him down like a dog and hacking it off with a hedgetrimmer.
In the game, obviously, although I somehow doubt it will include hedgetrimmers.
I'm going to guess you never played the first Mafia, then.
Bullfrog made a lot of good games, and Lionhead have come out with a few. There just needs to be some sort of gag order on Molyneux.
Still sounds like my sort of thing. Might pick it up when there's less good stuff coming out.
Not enough to get me back into Champions, I'm afraid. Nice, though; I love a bit of Steampunk.
The man's got a nice line in turtlenecks, though.
Still not sure what this could be, but there are plenty of possibilities. Inventory? Conversation? Contextual movement, a la Brink? Combat?
Any bets on who it is?
Hey, I'll do a lot worse for a FIFA Online beta key :p
I'm amazed, but this actually looks pretty solid, graphically. Interesting art-style but it kinda works.
Whoa. That actually sounds kinda cool, and that's speaking as someone who doesn't like sports games. Love the control idea - I can actually see that working.
I guess. Ballad of Gay Tony did a lot to improve that, though. Not so much in terms of the cover systems, but the explosive shotgun had a great "feeling."
And GTA4's combat was far, far better than the combat in the GTA3 series. Those games had no cover system and Godawful auto-aim. Seriously, they were atrocious; GTA4 is leaps and bounds ahead of them, even if it has failings of its own.
Aaaahahahahaha that AoC video is awesome :D
It wasn't *that* bad. Needs improvement, certainly, but it could've been a hell of a lot worse.
Still, cover shooters are kinda taking over, and it's very easy to get it wrong. I'm glad they're looking at Gears and Uncharted - two games that got it spot on.
Heh. Honing your gunplay against Uncharted and Gears of War is a good idea. Compare it to the best, and so on.
Oh God. Brown trousers time.
