Including paying for a WoW subscription ;/
Woo.
Much as I'm sure it's a reference to the Dog Days subtitle, I'd laugh much, much harder if the "dog lovers" reference turned out to mean that the game was being rebranded as a Dead to Rights spin-off.
To answer the title question: quite a lot of people, I think. It's a fair argument, but there's some awesome stuff going on with sandbox MMOs. An MMO doesn't mean a WoW-style MMORPG - it means a whole lot more, and there's plenty of room for other things in there.
Ooh. Intriguing stuff. Bits of it are pretty obvious to anyone who's played Deus Ex, but there's some good stuff in there.
Not like it's a huge surprise to see Yet Another Goddamn Guitar Hero Game, but it's nice to get some confirmation. I am, however, intrigued by the role Gene'll be playing.
Sorry, Bill. Still not enough.
"Platform agnostic" is an utterly wonderful phrase :D
As with pretty much every game, really. In this case it's a bit of a shame, but then Forza has shown that you can get really realistic vehicles even with the current systems.
Looks good, but they're gonna need more than this to pull me back to Champions.
That really does look tremendously pretty. Actually looking forward to seeing more shots of this.
I still want in.
Yeah, that's kinda killed my interest. I'll still follow it because, well, it's BSG and it might be good, but...
Good thing this doesn't have forced online play then, eh?
Oh for God's sake.
I shouldn't complain, I know. Demigod had far worse multiplayer problems and that turned out to be utterly worthwhile once they got it sorted, and I'm sure the same will happen here. It's just frustrating.
Sad that it's not in there. It was done better than in most BioWare games in Dragon Age, although it did still feel a bit "grindy" in terms of a focus on giving gifts rather than clever seduction through conversation trees.
At least relationships are still in Awakening, though, even if not with romance added on.
I knew it was going to be a great game, but I did genuinely think it'd be a niche thing. I mean, hardcore RPGs are by definition "hardcore"...
Really happy it's got the attention it has, though. It deserves it.
That's actually the most exciting news I've heard about Fable 3. How sad am I?
He's not wrong, judging by what I've heard about it. It really does just look like it functions similarly to the Wii. It might be an improved version, but even so, it looks like pretty much the same deal.
Eep. This actually sounds like a great idea. Not something I say regularly ;/
