In all fairness, it's miles easier to pin your Facebook page etc to your dashboard now. The apps were a bit slow, I didn't bother with them much.
It's great, had a play about with it this morning and I was genuinely surprised how well internet explorer works to be honest, didn't expect much there at all.
I love being able to pin my favourite games and apps to the home page and I like how streamlined the Xbox Music service is. They've definitely sped things up a lot (compared to the old Zune app) and after pinning artists or albums to your home page it only takes a few seconds to play. Great stuff.

Can't wait to see what the next consoles are capable of, and I don't mean graphics.
I'm expecting MS to announce that things like the new Xbox Music service will be able to stream whilst playing a game, and so hope to be able to pause a game or movie on Netflix, flip over to the internet browser (likely using smart glass to navigate) and then drop straight back into the game or movie whenever I want, so all apps are running simultaneous in the background like the...
Excellent score, really can't wait to pick this up and go online, been playing the demo all morning.
It's nice to see the ideas that the team have implemented here and I can't wait to see how they can build on them next gen.
I've been playing the demo all morning and I think it's absolutely brilliant. Can't wait to pick up the full game!
It could work, I'd love to see Hyrule rendered in the same way as say, something like Pixar's Brave. But given the choice over a movie with those graphics or a game, I'd take the game in a heartbeat.
It will be interesting when Nintendo do decide to add voice acting to Zelda (if they ever do of course, although it does seem inevitable eventually). People were horrified about the idea of Mario speaking prior to Mario 64 but we all got used to it pretty quickly.
I can't believe that 2 never got remade after the absolutely brilliant remake of Resi 1 for the gamecube!
I've actually got each ME and most of the DLC but this is great for anyone that missed out first time round.
I wish I could forget everything I know about ME and play through the whole trilogy from start to finish completely fresh. Awesome series.
I won't be picking up many more games this year but Halo 4 is right at the top of my list. Can't to see what's in store for the Chief.
It's a real shame there's so many negative Vita articles, I think mine is great and there is so much potential for the future.
Hopefully things will pick up over the next 6-12 months when a few more people get their hands on one.
Oh and for anyone in the UK, the Netflix app seems to be working again, finally!
I was thinking the same thing! Glad they decided against the .5 increment scoring system they've been using for a while.
Genuinely surprised by the latest trailers, it looks like it's going to be an awesome game. Very different from MGS obviously but it fits in with the Raiden's character perfectly. Can't wait.
Has this been remade from the ground up or has it just been tidied up? It looks great from the screenshot shown in the link, but I downloaded the ps1 classic when it came free with PS+ and to be honest I struggled to play it due to how nasty it looked when scaled up to a big HD screen.
Can't wait for the remake all the same, the originals were 2 of my favourite ps1 games!
That's pretty expensive all things considered. I'm sure the current 'slim' is around £180-190 new with a 160GB hard drive.
I wouldn't mind picking up one of the new 500GB ones but I'm not willing to spend £250 on it.
Shame they couldn't release them for around £130 (12GB) and £180 (500GB), especially when you consider the age of the console.
I have to admit I'd be tempted to pick this up if it came out day 1 on Wii U. The console might not be much more powerful than what's currently available but if it plays with a solid frame rate (not saying it won't on PS3/360, but GTA4 stuttered and V seems to have more going on) on the Wii U I'm sold.
Tried shadow of the Colossus for about half an hour on my home WiFi network and it works great. Slight stutter here and there (I have a really fast connection too) but perfectly playable. Just had to squint a bit while playing that's all, some of the ledges are hard to make out on the smaller screen.
Hmm I was hoping we would be able to copy these games straight across from the PS3 to the Vita rather than rely on remote play. I'd only really use remote play while in the house or at a friends or something, which kinda defeats the point of a handheld.
I was hoping to be able to play Ico/Colossus/God of War etc straight from the Vita at some point. Maybe in the future, who knows. At the moment remote play is fairly useless unless you have a solid WiFi connection, no good...
Really can't wait for this game, it had such a unique feel and style to it.
Hopefully this is testing the water for a fully fledged next gen sequel.
Good to hear! Can't stand lazy HD ports. I'm sure it will look incredible on the Vita.
I think PS+ is a great service and I can see myself subscribing for a long time to come, but I have to admit, getting 'free' games each month has led to me buying much less retail games. I haven't picked up any at all this year (Uncharted 3 was the last one) although I do have a Vita and have bought several retail Vita titles.
Not complaining though, I'll happily pay Sony £40 per year if I get 20+ quality games as well as plenty of other ones that I may ...
