FANTASTIC update as far as I'm concerned. The main problem I had with the Vita and PS+ was having to juggle games on my memory card and losing my progress when I deleted them. Now that this is no longer an issue it looks like I'll actually be finishing a few of the games on my Vita download list.
Can't wait for this, what a launch game! Really looking forward to the next Horizon game on Xbox One whenever it gets announced too (probably not for at least another year), hopefully they alternate between the two franchises every couple of years.
Nice find, downloading it now and my mate's doing the same, can't really complain since it's free even though it's not an amazing game. I can only assume this is a mistake though, it's uncharacteristically generous for Microsoft.
There was an incredible amount of things to do in each level in Donkey Kong 64, it was practically 5 games stacked on top of each other. I must have spent freakin' ages playing the classic DK minigame too! Great touch having that in there :)
I don't often look forward to a mobile/iOS game but the original PvZ was insanely addictive. Hopefully this one will turn out great too.
I was hoping this would be announced for XBLA too, maybe as one of the summer of arcade games.
I'd love to see this remade on Xbox One from the ground up, rather than a HD remake for the 360 done in the same way as Halo Anniversary. The first Fable is still by far the best, although it would be nice if they added some if the features from Fable 2 while improving the graphics to show off what next gen consoles can do. I don't ask for much...
I know what will be sitting under my TV later this year! Hope they announce the PS4 for release in the UK this year too, I'm going to be greedy and pick up both :D
Have you ever tried it? It may look rubbish on first glance but it's surprisingly addictive. Great fun with a few friends too.
@aCasualGamer
I'm fully expecting them to release it in 'HD' for the next consoles at some point but I really hope we hear something at E3. Even if it didn't look as good as next gen games it would still be a hell of a lot smoother on PS4/X1 than it would be on PS3/360.
Well spotted! I'd like to see a third Crackdown, although PLEASE use a new city this time.
Whatever happened to all that talk of 360 games being 'forward compatible' with future hardware?
Soul Reaver was wicked, I still remember that cool FMV intro too. My favourite part was when you shifted between two worlds, the whole world would bend and distort in front of you which was pretty impressive for the PS1!
I've enjoyed both series but I'm going to show gears some love, absolutely perfect gameplay in co op. just wish they'd gone in a slightly different direction with the story and characters, more like the very first mad world trailer.
Chainsawing someone in half still has to be one of the most satisfying ways to kill another player online this gen though.
I got it for £9 on the XBL sales a few weeks back and I'm struggling to play through much more of it. It's a good collection of what was wrong with this gen in terms of game design IMO.
Hopefully that means it will be a solid launch title, plenty of time between now and then to polish any rough edges and focus on the multiplayer.
The graphics (IMO of course) look great and if this is what we can expect from a launch title then we are in for a treat over the next few years :D
Can't wait for this! Time to invest in a bigger memory card, seems like the old Vita is going to be getting plenty of use over the next 12 month or so!
Can't wait to fire up FFX for the Vita with my headphones in and hear THAT music again. Such a beautiful game on so many levels.
It's crazy that the kinect 250GB bundle is going for £299, that must be an insane amount of profit for MS at this point.
I paid £290 for a 20GB at launch and I don't want to pay any more than £300 for next gen consoles so I hope the price of the 360 gets slashed pretty soon.
Don't forget Blast Corps! That could have some incredible online modes!
