I've wanted this ever since it was demoed on what was then known as the NGP.
Fez is a wicked game, I'd be very tempted to buy it again if it came to the Vita. It seems like it could be more suited to a handheld, plus they could add a cool touch screen swipe where you could manually rotate the world.
I'm looking forward to having a play around with it but I don't know how much I'll actually use it after the initial novelty wears off, time will tell.
Using OnLive for the first time was amazing though, being able to watch other people playing in real time with no loading whatsoever was a genuine wow moment. I'm hoping that being able to see what your friends are playing is just as easy on the PS4.
In terms of story then I'd say the Mass Effect trilogy. The characters, worlds and technology are all fantastically realised, regardless of how it eventually ended.
For pure single player gameplay this gen I'd say the Uncharted trilogy, and for co op my vote goes to Halo 1-3. Amazingly fun playing split screen with a mate.
I wonder if Nintendo will ever make a game where you play as Bowser for a change. They've done it with Luigi and Wario so it must have been considered at some point.
It's not necessarily poor AI, it's just that it hasn't advanced from last gen in the same way that the graphics have.
When was the last time you honestly played a game with AI that did something new?
"It's-a me, Mario!"
Me too, looked all over the store and couldn't find it as part of the PS+ promotion, it's available on the website though strangely enough. Downloading now :D
I picked up GRID too, can't argue with £2.69 or whatever it was.
I wasn't getting a GTA vibe from watch dogs at all, more along the lines of assassins creed to be honest, albeit infused with modern day or near future technology.
Hope it turns out as good as it looks.
It certainly seems that way. I hope the Wii U picks up later this year when Nintendo release Mario/Mario Kart/Zelda and developers start to take notice.
Gears is hardly a clone of RE4, hell you can't even walk and shoot at the same time in resi 4, let alone snap into cover anywhere you see fit. Only things they have in common is the third person view and arguably the content and gore factor.
I'm very intrigued but in all honesty I expected much more from MM at the conference. Yeah sure the tech they've come up with looks great but show us some actual gameplay so we can judge for ourselves. Loved all the LBP games so far, just picked up the vita version too.
Same with David cage. The ideas are in place, just looking forward to seeing some real gameplay now.
First I've heard of a Fable MMO, could be interesting. I want to see Alan Wake 2 and hopefully a few new IPs to kick next gen off in style.
PS+ is fantastic value but I have to admit, I spend a hell of a lot less on the store than I used to! There's always a chance that a certain game will be free at some point so I deliberately hold off for a while.
I definitely agree with the point made about hard drive space too, it's a pain having to juggle games (especially on the Vita). First world problems I guess.
Looks great, can't wait to see how it plays with a completely new set of powers although not sure how the game will work because electricity has been a fundamental part of inFAMOUS so far.
Looking forward to seeing it properly at E3!
Really looking forward to this, hoping for 64 player online. Only thing I didn't like about BF3 was the multiplayer graphics for 360/PS3 so that definitely shouldn't be an issue on new hardware.
Can't wait to see what's in store at E3 this year with all those developers on board. Got my PS4 pre-ordered already!
E3 is going to be incredible this year! All 3 consoles showing their best software and fighting for our money. It's a hard life being a gamer.
Okami HD!! I've been putting off buying this in the hope that it would make an appearance on PS+. Can't wait to download it.
