socom has the best online features and server support, you can't get any better than that. Also COD4 is FPS and socom is 3rd person shooter which i enjoy more, just like gears of war.
It's just a matter of price that is keeping the wii ahead right now. I know for a fact if the PS3 was $250 they would be selling more than the wii so that goes to anyone that says the wii is a better gaming experiance because it's not. Price is the only reason it's selling so well.
You can't get better than that remember this a 3rd person shooter so for a charactor on screen to have that kind of detail is really good.
People just don't know what kind of fan base Socom has, it's one of the biggest die hard multiplayer communities like counter strike. This title alone will move several million PS3s. I like socom 2 the best and I hope that's the direction their going. I will be getting this on day one.
This is the stupidest thing someone has said. From what I seen It looks like a good gaming experiance, There are different types of dragons with different abilities, the sixaxis controls seem like a good experiance, and the story looks good, not to mention the graphics look awsome.

There hasn't been much info of eight days but it's suppose to be like a GTA type game with better graphics and physics. you can see a video at gametrailers.com and it looks awsome by far one of the best looking games and it's in realtime. Look at the developer presentation all I can say is WOW!!!
The MGS4 game engine was built for the cell to optimize the game, if they were to port the game to 360 they would basically have to start from scratch since the game was never design as a multiplatform engine. Being that the games is almost finish, it would be a good year before we see it on the 360 at the earliest. Bubbles Plz
I think once the PS3 sales pick up this holiday season you'll start to see more japanese exclusive because the 360 install base in japan sux. I'm not worry about the PS3, the game lineup this fall is the best and Killzone might just be the title that shows the true power of the PS3 and then we won't have stupid comparisons on multiplatform or that the PS3 doesn't have any games.
I'm so sick of people saying that the wii is so revolutionary, it's not. IF the PS3/360 were the same price as the wii do you really beleave people would buy? Come on let's be realistic the wii is far from being the holy grail of gaming. It's a cheap thrill and enjoy it just don't make it seem more that what it is.

If you like the wii that's find but don't compare to PS3/360 it's not even in the same league. People play the wii cause it's simple and cheap. I got my 360 at launch and most of the games on it were PS2 ports. It's easy how people forget that it took 360 1 year to have it's first AAA title.
Sony should done what M$ did and nickel and dime us to death. they should release at $450 with a detachable 20gb harddrive and you can only upgrade to another sony harddrive, charge $50 for online service a year and spent the money to develop an online community(mulitplayer is better so keep the servers), charge for everything $99...

I know PS3 is doing something about their game lineup look at the release schedule, I wonder if M$ is doing anything about their hardware failure. I guess we can always compare multiplatform games and wonder why 1st party PS3 games can do 1080p and 60fps and not EA games. Or we can talk about 360's first year and when the really nextgen games started to arrive.
