lets talk about halo then, how come it looks like crap and games like lair,heavenly sword,uncharted are running at 60 fps and at 1080p, how many games coming on the 360 are running at 60 fps and 1080p= none. I'm glad I still haven't had a problem with none of my 360s, but 6 of my friends have recieved the ROD. I hope someone takes a class action lawsuit and makes M$ replace their 360 anytime you get ROD since there is a problem with the design of the motherboard.
The charactors are highly detailed, finally the PS3 shows some of it's power. These are the type of games that seperate the PS3 from the competition. I can't wait for team ICO to make a PS3 game.
Sony is going to blow everyone away this holiday season. The way I see it is Halo2.5 against lair, Heavenly sword, socom,warhawk, uncharted and just maybe Killzone2 which will top anything for the next few years. I think the people that say it sux are xbots that have never played it. I like Halo1 single player it was great, but Halo2 single player was average at best and didn't deserve the 9.4 score it recieved over hyped. Some people play consoles and will never know that there are better games out there.
I can't wait, This game is going to change the holiday season. If it delivers what was shown in the trailer, PS3 are going to be selling like hot cakes. I think the graphics on the trailer are going to be the same charactors, level design. The physics on the xplosions might not be as good as the trailer.
I just dont see how these studio want to replace DVD but charge you twice for the movie. When DVD movies came out they were the same price as a VHS so the jump was easy. I think the way this format war is going dvd is going to out last both formats, because there isn't an incentive for consumers to make that jump.
you wouldn't have sh1t to say then. Why compare a mediocore game when we can compare 1st party games. The graphics on Halo3 should tell you what the limits on the 360 are.
How can this game be linear, when you have a free roaming camera that would beat the whole idea for a 3rd person game. Linear is when you can only go one way like most FPS. You can tell he had total freedom and never felt like he was going in a straight line. I tell you these xbots are more annoying than anything. The game looked amazing, the animation, self shadowing and lighting were beyond what we seen before.

When I buy a kids movie I have to buy dvd instead even if I have a blu ray player because my kids have a dvd player and portable dvd player. In order for blu ray to take off it needs to migrate the consumer because most people have 2 or even 3 dvd players and nobody wants to buy the movie twice. The studios are not thinking, nobody wants to replace each dvd player at the current price and are not taking the right steps into making it as simple as one format. I can't wait, just like Gears of War last E3 everyone wanted to see it and play it. I think everyone in the gaming industry wants to see what Sony has to offer.
what they should do is release all the newly release movies with dvd on oneside and blu ray on the other side and this would be the best way to migrate consumers into the HD ERA. one disc, one movie and that would be easier for blockbuster to maintain space instead of having seperate sections one for blu ray and one for dvd. Consumers would be more likely to make the hd jump this way. But I hate all this format war, it's not good for consumers.
