Audio is just as important as video. Ask any movie collector and they'll tell you that sound is what brings the movie to life. it would take more than a year to develop the 360 version. The reason Sony didn't pay for exclusivity, is because they are supporting the tools and helping with the development. For the game to run on 360 they will have to build a different game engine and probably won't look the same. Sony are not stupid, as Treton said there are tools that the public don't know about and will only be available to the PS3. With a server people with PC would be able to download their mods directly into the game, where as xbox live is P2P they would have to downloaded through market place, so user created content would never get approved by M$

most people that want the wii are the 24 million nintendo fans that bought the gamecube, and probably attract another 6 million non gamers. I think SOny is find were it's at, $100 more than the 360 which the value speaks for itself. I think they just need better advertising and incentives to stores for pushing it. I bet PS3 gets alot of reps pushing as a blu ray player too, and since this holiday season is suppose to be big on HD content, PS3 can easily reach and surpass their goal.

I didn't buy a NEXTGEN CONSOLE to play games in standard form....I know I'm not the only one that is mad that HAlO3 doesn't run at 720p...THE GAME HAS BLACK BARS ON EACH SIDE!!!!! 2 years in it's life cycle the 360 is going backwards..
