How can someone say that the 360 got the better version of madden when noone has played either version. God these xbots are the worst bragging about a multiplatform game that is not even out yet. Madden will still sell better on the PS3 due to most hardcore madden fans prefer the PS. I bought a 360 at launch and I bought a PS3 2 months ago. The way I see it is the PS3 hardware is superior to the cheap 360 components, that's were the price comes in(don't hate me, hate M$ for that). As far as games go they both have different games that cater to their fans. I don't regret getting a 360 because I enjoyed it the last 18 months, but I'm looking forward to what the PS3 is bring in the future. play games not consoles

So I don't see the elite which is $120 cheaper but no blu ray, no wifi, big azz power brick, poor built quality do any thing good in japan. They should offer the discounts here in the states where their support is. Like M$ always wants to nickel and dime the consumer.
I hate going into games that people are trying to glitch, or cheat. Most of the time I play with people on my freinds list, most of us just play gears so every night we always have a full room.

I bought my 360 cuz i wanted to play gears of war and some other exclusives. Who cares if a multiplatform game comes out 3 months later, it's still the same game. I don't know of anyone that would buy a console because of a multiplatform game got release 3 months in advance, but everyone I know buys consoles cuz of exclusives. there is so many ww2 games out that I doubt anyone will be heart broken cuz they have to wait.

I for one don't plan on buying any WW2 game this year(sick of them) and I do have a 360 elite, The games that I buying is Lair, warhawk, heavenly sword, Socom, Uncharted and Assasin's Creed as you can see I have more than enough games to keep me satify this holiday season and when I'm done I go to ebay and buy Halo3 for $20 so I can finish the fight.

The elite is just as loud as the premium. It sux at night when I'm trying to be quiet, you can hear it more than the game. Sometime it's so loud I think it's about to break(fingers crossed). I would definitely wait to they get the hardware issue fix and a quieter drive.

why would sony drop to $449 when the inferior elite is $479. I think $499 is the sweet spot this year and will move alot of units being that it's only $100 more than a 360 premium and has a 60gig harddrive, wifi, hdmi and of course blu ray
