Well deserved success but damn this game was a huge, eye opening experience. I am basically at an age/point in my life where I just don’t have enough time to play a 30-50 hr story or put 100 hrs into a game like this. I have only played about 15 hours and loved it, but with all these games coming out or having been out, I can’t get myself to go back into Witcher 3. Literally they have such a great, dense game that it is almost unnerving thinking about how much time it takes.
Me either, I got a free code via someone on the interwebs and was (luckily) able to play the whole time.
I only got to the low 20's on level but I really enjoyed the gameplay. The wall running and jumping are nice additions but really don't feel like they're shoved down your throat (that's how exo's felt in AW to me and why I sold it after a week).

Water temple was only hard because they never told where the water level switches were and which ones needed to be active to get where.
The temple puzzles and the temple itself is awesome IMO. I enjoy the boss fight a lot as well. (and you fight Dark Link!!)
Not that it was harder, but I never liked the Spirit Temple as the child/adult two-part thing made me feel like it wasn't a cohesive experience. Basically the whole game rushed you through Gerudo Va...
Hm that sucks, BO3 beta was a lot of fun on PS4. Actually made me like COD again.
Hope it starts working for X1 folks. Wonder if this has anything to do with them switching to PS4 for primary console? In the sense that PS4 is where most focus is, not that they trash X1 intentionally.

Now I want my Halo or Mario Maker but if you ONLY have a PS4... man you have an eclectic variety of genres of games to play.
I am going to have to give props to Best Buy for months like these. I paid 30 bucks this year for a 2-year membership to their gaming program and it’s awesome… 20% off all new games regardless of list price. They have cornered my entire business for new game purchasing.
With MGS5, Tearaway, and Mario Maker… I’ll get them for $48 and $32 respectively. Can’t beat that. $128 for all 3 instead of $160. Basically buy two and get Tearaway free.
I have been hearing and reading from a lot of outlets that indicate this game doesn’t have a MGS moment. The gameplay is some of the best of recent memory but story-wise there doesn’t seem to be a huge OMG moment.
That said… I really believe there’s a classic Kojima-twist that the reviewers and websites have been barred from speaking on.
Then again, my entire MGS history is watching youtube and wiki reading to get the story straight. I’m pumped for this gam...

First thing I noticed as well... it's not a negative when there's plenty of people who will beat all 6 games this week. It might not be the easiest game(s) but it's far from impossible.

That may be true, I honestly haven’t played any MMO’s. Even Bungie says the game isn’t a MMO.
I still think that guns from year one should still have a place in year 2, 3, 4, etc… They may not need to be the best or most prevalent guns but I shouldn’t be punished for wanting to use an Ice Breaker in year 3 because all the “new” gun levels are 100+ points higher in damage than my Ice Breaker.

The best thing BO3 did was allow me to run/wall jump permanently I don’t need perks or attachments to run or mantle. I love that. It really made me think, well, what guns do I like because besides a few perks I liked there was no reason to use my tokens on new perks.

Eh... an OK game. The story and the setting really intrigued me. I'd play another game in the series but I would hope to have more combat and stealth areas. I don't need chapters where I don't play the game.
Create an inventory so if I like one of the few cool weapons to you created I can use them as much as I want. The gun that shot dust/powder over everything and then I shot a charge at it to make it explode was really cool. Too bad I only used it in 1 mayb...

I have 4 controllers so that I can have 4 people play Rory PGA and not have to pass it around. Or I have people play split screen games with me.
I also use one of them on my PS3 if I play Ni No Kuni or something like that.
The having 4 controllers and just swapping out when they die is an added benefit. Having only one controller is silly, it could break etc and you'll want a back up.

Invalid list as COD4 MW and Pokémon Gold/Silver aren't on there. Two of the most impressive and revolutionary games for the series/genre.
Grim Fandango and The Walking Dead are great games, but number 24 and 2 respectively? What a joke.

Hm I played Ground Zeroes and enjoyed the gameplay. I was going to avoid this game as I hadn't played any MGS before but hearing that the gameplay is really good and that it's not a lot of cutscenes, I might pick this up.
I'll wait for more reviews and see if I want it.
Would others suggest playing this without having played MGS before but knowing you enjoyed the GZ gameplay?
Geez I have a charger stand for 2 PS4 controllers then I have a 3rd one I use when I play...
I just rotate the controllers in and out as needed. Does no one else do this?
My launch PS4 controller got sticky/broken trigger buttons but I got sent a free one for that and have bought 3 more. None of these of have ever messed up. What are people doing to theirs???

When I played the beta, even with all the cool features, I had to slow way down and move methodically to gain an advantage.
I cannot survive circling the map and running around people anymore because you said it perfectly, who shoots and hits first usually wins.
