Well I’m sure it’s the most anticipated game till Oct. FPS are a huge drawing point and it’s the only one releasing before or in October.
Now cut to November when Black Ops 3 and Battlefront release… 100% Halo is not the “most anticipated” of November simply because a game on 2 and 4 consoles (respectively) will inherently have more pre-sales.

I guess you can't take the "win" away from the team where no one quite but maybe you could do something to affect the losing player's rank.
Maybe ban the player who quits but let the remaining players rank remain unchanged like the match didn't happen and still reward XP.

I know that everything is harder than it seems to me, the player.
But I can't help but think this issue is best solved by doing things for a game like Rocket League:
1) punish quitters
2) reward "stayers"
Just punish those who quit ranked matches with a ____ hour ban (IDC what) but then also reward the 1 or 2 people that stay by say... giving their XP a 25% bump.
Don't just give an arbitrary 200 XP at the end...

Does anyone else get rubbed the wrong way from Polygon? I mean, I don't like the sexualization of characters in games at all but I feel like EVERY TIME, 100% OF THE TIME a woman is given ANY sexuality in any game this site blasts the score for it.

Well, assuming the 400 hours is well spent then sure it's fine.
One thing I like from devs is when they respect the gamers time. I don't mean more time to finish = good or less = bad, but that if the game is 5 hours or 50 hours, as long as they're dense hours filled with immersion, story, gameplay, etc. (basically something positive) then I am fine with it.
