After taking their survey about which franchise of the old we would like to see again (and frankly, I'd like to see all of them come back, but what's the likelihood?), they have quite the catalog of classic games and I almost forgot all about those bc of the recent news surfacing and murky waters.
Suikoden, Vandal Hearts, Castlevania, Rocket Knights etc... Those are the games I remember playing, not so much metal gear and that pro evolution game.(Sorry MGS fans, and you are in...
and here I was going to rush to my vita, download the title even if I had to pay, just to play it *No western release* wah wah
The one time a flat ass could come of use!
Me too! I live in the east bay area. I'll hop on BART and it's a done deal.
I only live a few miles away, I'll be there for sure! Super excited for it.
@Christoper: Thank you so much for all your had work and dedication into making indie month a really fun one to follow and interact with on N4G.
Kudos to all the writers and previewers, can't be easy to get it all done and interview all these amazing developers.
Congrats Emilio and to all those who won and made the comment sections fun to read.
That spreadsheet looks insane! :)
It's important that they look at other studios and collaborate if there are some areas they'd like to create that they don't feel so strong about.
It could spark come creative elements and the two are open worlds if I'm not mistaken, so they're probably assets that they could use to advance development, rather than to stall it.
I highly recommend checking out the link for a good laugh, those were hilarious, yay internet for saving the cover.
Should tell Time how ridiculous the cover is since it can be placed in multiple (hilarious) absurd situations.
love the epicness of it all, music, possible plot, great character designs for humans, humanoids, robots and monsters. Looks like a cool game.
Sh*t, which potion do I use to stop this ailment?
No, cigarettes are bad for you! Cast water spell!
Man, was it hard to pick just one, but I had to go with the studio that give me a burning desire (not a sensation) to play their games.
There were a lot of heavy contenders and a lot of great games that I wanted to play right away.
There was also a good variety of genres and that's what you can expect from indie titles...a little bit for everyone.
I wish I had waited out, cause I already have it on the Vita, but it was a great sale and I couldnt help it, lol.
Its great to have it on the go :) just plug in my beats and let the soundtrack enchant me.
We already had a beta phase on the vita...I remember dlding it and trying a couple of games. There wasn't a monthly subscription option at the time.
I think Microsoft put some hype and gameplay vids on reserve for gamescom, it is a good marketing ploy to generate interest.
It's greater when the games actually shown look amazing.
The Xbox brand tends to be the last I pick up and usually toward the end of the generation, while the games have been out and the library is robust, but I may have to get one soon...perhaps, for scalebound and a few other titles.
Scalebound isn't a timed exclusive, is it?
The way I see it, I think investors and game developers need to be told in advance that a game console is being made in order to provide finance for development and games for launch titles. Even if Ninty kept it under wraps, it would've been leaked.
My JRPG's lil' heart is filled to the brim, not just with these amazing SE titles, but the fact that there are a lot of JRPGs coming this year and the next and some franchises are getting revived. :)
Domo arrigato JRPG gods!
man, I love this game franchise and I'm glad a sequel is in the works.
I grow eager and excited to see more gameplay footage and to hear what the story is all about.
I like the aesthetics and I hope it makes its way westward.
Ryu looks friggin' hot!
