I bet you money it won't come on consoles. And if they announce it on E3 then they'd probably would have to make a lot of cuts to get the game running on consoles
No patch can fix the amount of suck the story had to offer.
I would disregard a high-end CPU and try going for duel GPUs since they are going be primary for gaming.
You could get one but at the cost of your own warranty.

A gtx 260 could run in hardcore settings at 1920 x 1080.

Download and it should be under AA settings. I prefer to disable AA and force x2 MSAA for better performance.
Cyrtek concentrated all their efforts on the consoles and though they could slip past the PC community by slapping higher res textures and slightly better lighting last minute then say they will dx11 later on.
Seriously, typical gameplay is around 20-25 frames for consoles and at one point the frames went down to 12? This is just unacceptable and I might as well watching a powerpoint slideshow.

Both version dips under 30 frames most of the time and the PS3 hits the 20 mark xP. I can't stand playing games under 30 frames, EW.
Who would of though the cause of 2012 would be bad console ports?

Crysis 1 with mods will always be the best looking game IMO. May not have the production value of console exclusives but is made very well for a smaller budget.
