Ever think the consoles can't handle 64 players? Developers have to compensate with only 256mb of RAM so what you expect?
Quad Cords are a bit of an overkill for phones. I just can't see any practical applications and worry about the heating issues and battery life. I think Quads should slowly crawl its way into the market when duel core phones are the norm.
Lets all pretend to know what we're talking about and say the CELL is the holy grail of hardware and can do anything it wants.
Nah, I also play Bad Company 2 (you haven't play this game unless you play with 32 people), Team Fortress 2, Magicka, Left4Dead 2 with mods, Alien Swarm, ARMA 2, Metro 2033, Battlegrounds Half-life Mod, The Witcher, Killing Floor, Machinarium, every STALKER game ever made, World of Goo, The Void, Amnesia: Dark Descent (scariest game on the planet), and all the Penumbra Games.
And the console kiddies say PC has no games. Facepalms.jpeg
(Microsoft gets hacked)
N4G - HAHA M$ deserves it. Serves you right for buying a xbo3fix me.
(Sony Gets Hacked)
N4G - OMG HACKERS MUST BURN AND DIE! GEOHOT IS THE WORST PERSON IN THE WORLD!
Double standards much?
I've been reading articles like these and I'm getting sick and tired people forcing the though of piracy and hacking become synonymous with each other. There is many reasons for hacking a console. Hacking to run unsigned codes relates to HOMEBREW while hacking to run games you don't own is PIRACY. Get that inside your head. The whole purpose of custom firmware is running user-created programs. USER-CREATED CONTENT.
Don't try and get hacking and pirating mixed with each other. Custom firmware allows a user to run unsigned codes, or user-created applications I.E homebrew. This means I can write make a program such as maybe calculator app and run it on my PS3 without any clearance from Sony. Thats what Geohot wanted and even said himself that he made this exploit specifically to run unsigned codes and avoid any form of piracy.
Crysis Wars looks worst outta all the Crysis games.
Pff, if you want next-gen then develop for the PC silly =P
"A PC can't run supercomputer applications."
What kinds programs are you talking bout? If you are referring to folding@home then the PC can run it. Raytracing is can be done on nvidia cards. How bout real-time simulations like strains of hair and cloth? Yep the Fermi cards can do that too.

PS3 isn't the future. That would be the PC rockin the DX11 cards. And I don't comparing a PS3 to a 5 year old PC since those first party games are heavily optimized for the PS3 and PC games are design to run general set hardware.
I enjoyed the Crysis Single-Player Campaign. Every single character are cliché mirrors of actors in movies but the transition from different environments really motivated me to keep playing.
The title is misleading. He said the story was bad but the gameplay is fun.
Um metro 2033 and stalker: Call of Pripyat? The dynamic lighting in these games are second to none. Alien vs Predator and Lost Planet have the most detailed character models ever seen in a video game thanks to tessellation.
Its a cutscene rendered in real-time.
Lets just hope another Developer gets their act together in time for their game's debut >_> *stares at Crytek*
They better delay the PC version because I'm not pay 50 bucks for a console port.
"Battlefield 3 will be coming out on PC, Xbox 360, and PS3." Nice to hear someone announcing it on PC first.
Delay this unfinished game now. There are so many things wrong.
And suppose your game has dynamic lighting, high-res textures, fully-destructible environments, and new AA technology.
