Still gutted that Vigil went under. Must be pretty heartbreaking for those guys that all their fellow studios under THQ were snatched up but they were left to drift just because two of their sorely underrated games didn't sell enough.
Nobody's saying that DS3 will be a bad game. We just don't think it'll be a very good Dead Space game. Dead Space 1 had an atmosphere that made you really feel like you were all on your own against an entire ship-full of beasties who would kill you in very messy ways. DS2 didn't quite achieve that atmosphere, but made up for it with more psychological horror that I'd actually argue was more effective.
DS3 looks like the RE5 of the series. It's a signif...
Back to the creepy atmosphere of DS1 and cut the actiony Co-op Lost Planet mash-up. Or at least that's what I assume we all want.
The last good Resident Evil game
I've had a crack at these on a friend's Xbox and - let me tell you now - the only one of these worth playing even a little is Predator, at least in my opinion. The rest might as well not even exist for all I care.
Binary Domain actually had a better story than most critics gave it credit for imo. Blasting robots into little mechanised chunks was pretty sweet too.
What? You guys don't know? Sony's a charity now - they're a non-profit organization.
Jokes aside, while Microsoft's future is uncertain, I doubt it's likely that Sony will take the Xbox brand even though I'm sure they'd lap that shit up if they had the opportunity.
It certainly isn't giving soccer moms any less ammo. Is it as atrocious as some seem to think it is though? Not really, but I can't imagine being particularly proud of myself if that bust was sat on my mantlepiece.
Pretty much this.
Females referred to as 'Gurl Gamerz' have a bad rep because, as you said, they're attention whores flaunting their gender. It doesn't help much that - at least in my own experience - most of these types tend to suck at games.
If Deadpool doesn't talk to the player at least five times over the course of this game then it's failed miserably as a Deadpool title.
Couldn't really have said it much better.
What? Are you telling me that people actually take the Metacritic User Scores seriously?
Ah Spyro 3. Many hours were spent playing and replaying that little gem.
2013's going to be a good year for those of us who embrace our inner zombie survivalist.
Free DLC? I remember back in the day that was called an update, or a patch.
I'm still on the fence where gameplay is concerned, but from the looks of it they've got the humor Deadpool's known for nailed and if Cable's involved as well...
Thought this was for FC3 in general for a moment, then I saw the 'Multiplayer' and then it all started clicking.
Pretty pointless idea giving a review purely for multiplayer though imo. Like a certain magazine reviewing a certain multiplayer beta for a certain FPS mere hours after its release.
I take it you watched the Zero Punctuation review for Dishonored?
Well sorry man but as far as I know (and I'm fully aware that my memory's more than a little hazy on the matter, so someone might need to correct me on this), the original series ended with Dante stranding himself in hell to save humanity or something. Unless Capcom pulls something out of its ass I really don't think there's much chance of a return to form so to speak. That said however I do think I remember reading a very, VERY early article suggesting Capcom was open to the ...
You know something's wrong with the FPS industry when we're all clamoring for WW2 again.
Oh well, can't say I'd be against it.
