@smashcrashbash: Ah, sorry. I appear to have misinterpreted your original post entirely.
Well duh it's implausible, it's a bleeding video game about people who can shoot electricity from their fingertips (which, somehow, also stops him breaking every bone in his body and rupturing every organ when dropping from great heights) and transform into smoke clouds, launching said smoke like projectiles capable of lethal harm.
Cole's heroic sacrifice in Infamous 2 killed everyone with the Conduit Gene, regardless of whether or not they had awakened their powe...
An open world Mirror's Edge would be - for me, who can only watch in awe envy at the skilled free runners and parkourists (excuse the nonexistent vocab) - a dream come true.
This is a mast buy
Fez wouldn't get my money if God himself ordered me to buy it. The dev lead's an insufferable cunt on a massive level and to top it all off the game itself apparently just is not all that good.
I enjoyed the first Dead Island for all its faults, but shit, Dark Souls man. Compare the two? You can't. Dark Souls is just a much better game.
What's left of them anyway. Poor guys.
Capcom's loss is evidently Bethesda's gain.
Interested to see what Mikami has cooking up for us all.
I remember when this was still called Class 3 and everyone on an internet board I frequented thought it was nothing but a pipe dream.
My body is more than ready, I don't think I can say the same for my poor wallet.
I have everything BUT the goddamned graphics card sorted.
I don't even know where to start...
What about Ben 'Yahtzee' Croshaw?
Just throwing that out there.
Ah Revelations, the last true Resident Evil Game (unless you're one of those die-hard types, in which case it was Code Veronica).
Forgive me if I'm wrong but wasn't Mirror's Edge 2 confirmed a while ago? IIRC development's on hold, but not cancelled.
In response to all who replied:
I thought it was common knowledge that the virus in L4D1 and 2 was a highly mutated strain of rabies. It makes them crazy as hell, much akin to the infected from 28 Days Later, which is what they are: infected, not zombified. They've got an incredibly high pain threshold (or no threshold whatsoever because whatever's coursing through their veins is making them so pissed off they just don't care about physical agony any more) but the...
Games that actually deserved to be on that list (and be aware that this is just my own opinion here):
Stubbs the Zombie
RDR: Undead Nightmare
DayZ
Dead Rising 2
Resident Evil
Zombies Ate My Neighbours
PvZ
L4D2 and RE4 are fantastic games but they're not zombies, same with Dead Space 2. Admittedly I haven't played Survival Crisis Z yet because every time I try it CTDs and so far no amount of reinstalling has chang...
Article title's misleading as hell.
I agree and disagree. Some communities are terrible, others are slightly more sane or in tune with the world outside.
I accept that there are some Redditers who are decent folk, as well as forums/subforums of the site which aren't total hives of scum and villainy but, to me at least, its image will be forever stained by its generally uncreative, plagiarist meme kiddies and the constant 'le' bullshit. And let's not forget the HILARITY that rage comics bring us ...
Proving once more that Kotaku does not do even the slightest bit of research. Also: cosplay articles.
It's like The Sun of gaming journalism.
Forest reminds me a little of Far Cry 1.
Looks like a pretty interesting list overall imo.
