I think you're clinging at straws to want to believe this game is going to be good. Don't ge me wrong, I would love to, but none of those things however you spin it are positive. I will not be buying, it sounds like utter turd.
It took me around 5 hours to complete the game with all the standard star coins. I didn't want to play through the same levels over again because I found them to be short and repetitive. I understand people like the current Nintendo but Mario 64 DS had much more going for it (even if it was a remake)
Repeating the same or slightly rehashed levels does't add re playability for me, especially when the levels were short and so easy it put me to sleep.

you needed more than a knowledge of a bit torrent client in the beginning, I manually reflashed my DS firmware before all the fancy cartidges came out that make it easy. I still bought games though, only did it to try stuff out.
I'm happy I bought the games then though, because Nintendo were actually making some decent stuff, Mario 64 DS was amazing and full of content and minigames.
I just look at the 3DS now though, the lack of effort in the 5 hour long...

I only used MarioKart wii as an example, If I wanted to refer to a better mariokart title I would have said MarioKart DS.

I have both the 3DS and the Vita, the 3DS is the most disappointing handheld Nintendo I have bought in quite some time, and I absolutely adored the DS and imported it before release from Japan and did the same with the DSLite.
The Vita rivalled the 3DS in games just 6 months after its release.
I'm somebody who purchases alot of games for my consoles and the Vita is one great investment.

I think it's quite amazing also. Had one since launch and as much as I've tried to love it, there's just nothing on it for me at the moment. Whenever I think there's something I'm going to like it just doesn't live up to my expectations.
I loved the original DS, imported one from japan on launch and did the same with the DSlite. I just don't feel any quality with my 3DS or its software. Sold pretty much my whole 3DS collection apart from Ocorina 3...

Just got it for free with Crysis 3. Ah I do like upgrading graphics cards.

Best handheld I have ever owned, the price is justified, for me anyway.
