Rare are not the good Rare of old. I can't even remember the last good game Rare made, Conkers bad fur day probably.
I wouldn't say it ruined it, I like the UC3 multiplayer, I play it alot with a mate of mine.
What ruins the multiplayer is the insane lag, its seconds before you know you are being shot and then you're dead. You can be killed when you've run round a corner Because on their screen your out in the open. It's shizz like that.
I live in Europe too, I just think we might get it at some point too :D

So true, I was playing the MP beta for ages and loving it. It's very different from most games.
Yeah, Uncharted 2 is the best one. 3 was all over the place, but a fantastic game none the less.
The difference is (i heard the devs talking about this) Uncharted 2's story was written and the levels designed around the story.
In uncharted 3 the levels were designed and the story was then written around the levels. This made everything flow a bit awkwardly, but I still love the game and the multiplayer.
It is seriously lacking in the story/Voice acting area, and there need to be more puzzles.

Uh, he is talking about the mechanics. Every game features shoot this, jump that, solve this, climb that.
The difference is the mechanics, Tomb raider used to have auto lock-on and all sorts of different shizz. Uncharted got everything right and TR then copied the mechanics, simple. Even the cutsceneslike moment's ingame reek of uncharted.
Good game though, but I'm afraid I prefer Mr.Drake.

I'm old, and Nintendo haven't been about the games since the Cube. All of their best works are 3 generations ago on the Nintendo 64.
pssh. Lara has a history yes, but Drake is a much better character, has way more personality and is definitely the king of this genre.
Such a shame, and quite irritating people are actually buying the game and funding EA's next destruction of a franchise.

These guys have made one before, it will be terrible I assume. The last decent ones were MotoGP by Climax, The first online enabled xbox game and it's sequel.
As soon as Capcom got hold of MotoGP it got terrible.

USA was born on violence, and continues it today, everyday. Who cares what's in a game? there is violence in life, movies, games and books. What we eat is murdered and our whole world is based on it. Jesus, I wish this would stop coming up. If you didn't have the shooting inbetween, there wouldn't be much to do in the game.
Problem is, this is utter tripe. It has been confirmed that a user enabled the debug menu and found a way to play offline. EA have since disabled the debug menu and removed any trace of the forum post.
The game can run offline perfectly, just without the other cities effects. EA are scum.
