Nintendo Core. Nintendo Wii Entertainment System + Touch (aka Nintendo WEST, which I don't actually like, even though I came up with it...). Nintendo Mii, since it's the same message as "U," but not using the "Wii" name. Tabby, because it has a tablet controller (and a Famicat would live on each system...). I do like Wii 2 and Super Wii well enough. Revolution will never happen; it's too much of a step back, since it's the scrapped code name of the Wii. It&...

I could see it being true, primarily due to the fact that Nintendo doesn't want to lose out on another 5 years of multi-console ports. Even if it's at the lowest-end, system maxing specs, I would believe them trying to cram it in there. You know, like the WiiU could run it, but with all the effcts turned way down and maybe fewer elements onscreen. Also, there does seem to be some confusion about Epic's comments about what systems can run UE4... I assumed they meant that WiiU would...

Fairly skewed poll data, as I've never heard of Dealnews, before... So it's not 3/4 of all gamers, it's 3/4 of people who say they are current gamers AND visit that website... Still, a lot of core gamers were burned by the Wii, but a good new system with a great lineup of games could change anyone's mind. I see a lot of fans railing against Nintendo and saying that only Sony and MS cater to the hardcore, but if you look at the history of gaming consoles, there are huge ups and...

Yeah, Mario Galaxy 3 isn't ever happening... Just look forward to the new thing that they make instead of the old ones that are already great, which you can still enjoy. And Smas Bros remakes don't make sense; two new versions are coming out (probably in 4 years...), and since they aren't exactly epic quests, remakes seem unnecessary. A new Zelda at launch is laughable. Why does this list even exist? The content doesn't match the headline (except for AC3...), in that none of t...

I doubt we've really seen all that's coming. Even if they aren't launch games, I'm very excited to see hat else is on the way for the first year. Here's hoping some cool exclusives are coming our way, and not just first party ones.

Boy, did I want a lime green Wii. I think the Wii was and Wii U is a stylish pair of consoles. Right now, though, my Wii is under my tv, set atop my DVD player. That's fine, except that more color options could really make me want to display my system more prominently. My house is very colorful, and myself and many other people would love electronics that appear unique, and not just the same old black and grey metal and plastic. I had a Gears 3 Xbox 360 for awhile, which was blood red wit...

Well, Smash Bros as a WiiU launch title is silly. The game will have been in development for 3 months AT MOST. Not quite the timeframe for good game development. I could see them baiting us with a LOGO for the 2 new titles, but that's it. Also no mention of Starfox, Metroid running on Unreal 3, or Eternal Darkness 2? What kind of prediction article is this? I'd love to see a new F-Zero take advantage of the 3ds' features. Also, I imagine we really will get a glimpse of the new 3ds...

They know what to do; giving Metroid to Epic or Retro is a great plan. I hadn't heard that Epic was working on it; only that the Unreal Engine 3 was being used. In which case both rumors could be somewhat true. But then who is making the new Starfox game?

Well, if Nintendo really wants to lure its hardcore fanbase back, Starfox would be a good start. I don't think it would be a launch game, but just the promise of this (and a new Smash Bros logo...) would sell a lot of systems. As for Retro making it, we'll see; they've got to be working on something.

Wind Waker, for sure. I forget how good some of these games look through the Dolphin emulator. And ditto on Eternal Darkness, if only to perk up interest for a sequel.

This used to be one of my favorite games on the Genesis. I wish they would have liscenced an anniversary release for download on all the current consoles.

I don't mind not being able to play the games on someone else's system, but I do think the digital games should be cheaper. Game companies could give a discount and still make more money per title in the absence of printing, packaging, shipping, and storing. It's fairly obvious that the brick and mortar stores like GameStop are standing in the way of a vast price gap. I don't think prices woul lower that much, anyway; companies know that they can make $50-60 per title, and as ...

I agree that not revealing the price at the upcoming E3 is definitely so they can show off what the system can do and what the games look like and how you're not going to be getting anything like what they're offering anywhere else, and THEN they'll tell us it's $300... I personally think that the machine will be more powerful than its current competitors, but not so much that it's components will be deathly expensive. The 360 is 6-7 years old, so surely doing a BIT better...

This article is weird, and poorly researched. It's supposed to be 5 ways WiiU can fail, and it certainly has its incorrect info about the negatives in there, but then in reference to launch games, it seems as though the author seems pretty pleased with that aspect of the system. And where it says Pikman 3 and NSMarioBMii are "all but confirmed..." What? They are 100% confirmed. Not necessarily as launch games, but announcements have been made; the games are on their way...

There's so many great games on Wii that get overlooked, and then gamers complain about no new games... How about A Boy and His Blob, Sin and Punishment 2, Madworld, Lost in Shadow, Lit, Dead Space Extraction, Fragile Dreams, No More Heroes 1 and 2, the Res Evil Chronicles games, Sakura Wars, Lost Winds, Tatsunoko vs Capcom, Epic Mickey, de Blob, the Bit.Trip games... That's totally ignoring any first party titles, and I'm probably forgetting a bunch. With La Mulana and Retro City ...

Fact that they are a smaller company is interesting, here... Another possibility is an HD or 3d remake on the WiiU or 3ds, respectively, which could be released digitally to test the waters for interest in a sequel and minimize publishing costs. A whole new generation of players could be introduced to the title to drum up fervor for another game in the series...

I'm constantly shocked that people with seemingly no knowledge about the WiiU get to write professional articles about it; in this instance, obviously the tablet has graphics on par with the system... It's basically a second tv! It doesn't need a powerful processor because it is just streaming video from the console, like your television does. As for a "possible" Assassin's Creed title maybe appearing after this Rayman game comes out... Assassin's Creed 3 is a L...

I'd be interested in picking up a collection of all the episodes on disc, although if the gap between 2 and 3 is the same as between 1 and 2, then we might be in for a wait... I don't know if it is only supposed to be three episodes, also.

Unless you've been living under a rock, you'd know that Pikmin 3 is coming to WiiU and will be shown at E3, so the fact that the author of this article hasn't seen that information says a lot. You don't put something that you're guaranteed to get on your WISH list...

The issue will probably release right around E3, so not much of a spoil, and it is not necessarily from Nintendo at all. I can't tell what the shape is, but I would guess an outline of a country. The word "comrade" at the end indicates something Russian or Communist... I just had a thought; I really hope it's not a new Tetris... The "generations" in there is interesting, too. I doubt Sonic Generations on WiiU would be a cover story, because I'm pretty sure the ...
