I like VR but Nintendo won't make their console powerful enough for 3rd Parties to take advantage of if VR was included, I bet sales would be about same as Wii U MAYBE if they have some killer software Gamecube sales. Crossbuy is good but they need to fix the Windows Store, let us install NORMAL Old Fashion EXE Files. Right now you can't even use a Framerate counter or Capture gameplay because windows store is lame and restrictive. They should at least give us the option to use normal exe files.
They didn't show any new games besides Dead Rising 4 (not exclusive) and Forza Horizon 3 (but who cares they release a new Forza every year and add Microtransactions to the game a month or so after release). They show a slim version of their current console and talked about their next console. Only thing I actually cared about was cross buy but PC Versions need to be release in a NORMAL EXE FILE like Steam/GOG/Origin, Windows Store is crap.

No, they don't need to be a generic clone of Xbox/Playstation just like the Snes wasn't a generic clone of the Sega Genesis, IT WAS BETTER. N64 wasn't as good as PS1 due to Storage. Gamecube not as good as PS2/Xbox due to storage. Wii = Blackeye to the fans for casuals who abandon them for iphone. Wii U = Epic Fail not even close to Xbone or PS4. This is going to fail so badly if they just rely on a gimmick again and if it's Virtual Reality it will fail massively.
Unless you don't have any interest in a PC, Scorpio will be more powerful than Neo. Plus in the future you know Microsoft exclusives will be compatible with PC if you decide to get a PC later.
It's not complicated, Microsoft knows the future is PC. With each new Xbox it will be closer and closer to running full windows (still got some issues with stability and interface for a console on actual windows but eventually they will figure it out).
NX is going to fail harder than Wii U. They keep searching for that non-existent "Blue Ocean" but Sony/Microsoft/Steam has been building Red Islands in the Red Ocean while Nintendo still stuck in a kiddie boat (I say this as someone who will still end up buying the NX for the exclusives).
I think Neo will be great package for people who want a solid VR experience for cheap, but I just don't see how with leaked specs (assuming they are real) it will be able to handle 4K but I'm sure it will be decent enough if you prefer Playstation exclusives.
I will be buying a new PC instead but Scorpio makes a lot of sense for console games with 4K TV. PS4Neo doesn't seem like it will be able to handle 4k tbh.

I backed a few dozen kickstarters, I don't think I'll back anymore. Most of the projects I backed did create something but a handful didn't or produce shit like MN9. Still glad I supported some of these projects at the time, now it's time for industry to go back to normal. Those who were successful on kickstarter should have money to make new projects.
