I did see 3 checkpoints in a 20 second period, and the game stops completely at each one.
Looked more like load times, than checkpoints to me, but that's to be expected with those gorgeous textures, and high poly models.
Hopefully they can streamline this process. If not, this will be one average shooter. (shoot Mobs, move, load/checkpoint, repeat)

Does accepting free repair, or reimbursment for past repairs disqualify a customer from joining in this lawsuit? If so isn't MS just covering its A$$?
How would pictures prove anything? MS will never release the actual figures, and because they've been replacing broken units with refurbs, those figures can be sku'd and convoluted to no end.

The truth : people will play Wii Sports for years to come, and pay to play it. I just pray the Wii, will expand its target market, with a Wii Lite HD.
Beyond that, Sony and MS need an overhaul. MS needs to increase their mass appeal, and start building fault free 360s, and offering full out repairs, or replacements for < $50.
Sony needs to get their head out of their a$$ pronto, lower the price, and streamline the design of the PS3.
It will take a year to port. 360 lead sku.
I thought MS paid for exclusivity on this one though. Also if DMC4 doesn't sell well on the PS3, why would Capcom waste their time porting a new IP?

Can you say M Rated Mario on Acid? That's what I got with Crackdown,
*minus* cool bosses.
But the weapons/vehicles, and cooler weapons/vehicles in the DLC, and the Jumping, the Physics, and Awesome Co-Op are what make Crackdown a really great and unique experience.
If you've ever enjoyed a post N64 Mario game, Hulk:UD or GTA, Crackdown is the epitome of the cross-genre.
What I'm saying is give it a try. You won't regret it.
My favorite game in a decade. I've spent at least 20 hours on Crackdown so far, just beating it on Psychotic solo. If you can do it faster: here's a cookie.
There are plenty of difficulty levels for a reason, and the free DLC + Co-Op make this game much more than what's described in your post. Add the pay for DLC, and the game is one hell of a juggernaut.
